About this deal

While Triniti Pro’s core still features the engage material, it uses a different grade of the plastomer to produce a more true, responsive feel at impact. It was critical to have a felt that lasted as long as Triniti’s patented Engage Core, so we designed a special felt for this special ball. Naturally, since the balls aren’t pressurised, we’d expect the bounce and performance to remain pretty much the same as there should be no pressure loss over time. So naturally, Wilson put the ball to the test and asked their pro ATP, WTA and NCAA players for some feedback. The durability is so much better than any other ball, and the best thing is that you can keep them for serving practice later on – unlike pressurized balls that lose their bounce and feel.

You may choose to take a lateral flow test before being in close contact and also encourage those people you are meeting with to do so, which will help to manage periods of risk. The ball core comprises a unique plastomer material that impressively extends ball liveliness, while STR Felt is 50% more flexible than the standard ball for more core compression and longer dwell times. Wilson have used STR felt which is apparently 50% more flexible than the felt on other tennis balls. This STR felt leads to more core compression and a longer dwell time, which results in the ball staying on your racket strings for a slightly longer time and provides a little extra control and feel. g. special offers, tennis, outdoor, bicycle and sports clothing as well as tennis, outdoor, bicycle and sports equipment). In an effort to do a way with all the plastic and metal tennis ball cans, Wilson have developed the perfect eco-friendly tennis ball in their new Wilson Triniti.

The first strokes with the ball reveal a little bit different sound and feel at impact with the strings. if you have any symptoms ofCOVID-19 (a new, continuous cough, high temperature, loss or change to your smell or taste. As a much more durable ball, we definitely managed to get a lot more play out of these balls compared to regular pressurised balls. The development process included an extensive playtest with athletes and retail partners which resulted in very positive feedback. If they have the same bounce by then, I imagine a lot of tennis clubs will save nice money on balls that don’t go flat too soon.

I don’t know If Wilson has used a more heavy-duty felt on this ball, but durability-wise, this ball really delivers.

Thanks to the lighter material, Wilson were able to create a 40% thicker core wall, which helped them create a longer lasting ball that would perform similar to pressurised tennis balls, with actually being pressurised. In 2019: Wilson launched the first performance tennis ball designed with fully recyclable packaging: TRINITI. Triniti integrates a low-density plastomer into the ball core’s rubber compound to help maintain fresh ball feel 4x longer than a standard core and deliver desirable playing characteristics without the usual amount of pressure. The blend of the core material and flexible felt allows this ball to maintain its characteristics outside of a pressurized can.S ince the Wilson Triniti is a presureless ball, it doesn’t suffer from the same pressure loss as conventional tennis balls, which means it also maintains its high, consistent bounce for a much longer time. We should all be considerate of this and provide the opportunity and space for others to reduce close contacts if they wish. So, on their mission to make tennis a greener sport, Wilson set out on a project to develop a tennis ball that could perform the same as a regular tennis ball, without the need of all the plastic and metal packaging that comes with it. Wilson have done a fantastic job in producing a ball that plays very much like a conventional pressurised ball, while being much more durable. The somewhat odd smell of gas from the can mixed with the felt and rubber makes for a magic combination that takes many tennis players to their happy place.
