About this deal

It’s not the best feeling coating I’ve ever used (it canget slightly greasy if I’m gaming for longer periods of time) but I wouldn’t have any issues using this as my main mouse at all so as far as I’m concerned this coating is tip-top. Please read this End User License Agreement carefully before you complete the installation process and before you use the ENDGAME GEAR Configuration software for the first time. Launching our first product the XM1 in 2019 and praised on a global scale we’ve since expanded on the shape that had taken the enthusiast community by storm with the XM1 RGB and XM1r which saw us completely rework the electronics helping to improve on what was already considered one of the best mice of 2019. Hi I am coming mainly from ergo mice (deathadder elite and glorious model d) I use a claw-palm hybrid, my hand measurements are about 19×10, I played with the viper mini for a few months, and It was horrible, at first it was nice, but after I actually played with it for a few hours my hand was experiencing cramps, and I couldn’t use my claw-palm hybrid, not even claw alone, I had to use a fingertip-claw and I hated it, I went back to my glorious model d, and it felt amazing, would the xm1 be good for claw-palm hybrid, and is the shape comfortable for long sessions (I also have my ring and pinky finger close to each other and upfront when I hold the mouse so with the viper mini I was forced to grab the mouse like a crab leg would look like) , or should I go with other ergo mice instead? It is a completely different mouse than the Viper Mini though; the Viper Mini is smaller and feels entirely different in the hands.

This sensor has a resolution of 50-19000 CPI and the CPI can be adjusted in increments of 50 CPI from 50 to 10000 CPI and in increments of 100 CPI from 10000 to 19000 CPI. The switches aren’t the only internal change that Endgame Gear have made: they’ve also gone for the new PAW3370 sensor on the inside.

I’d say that the XM1 could definitely work for your grip type (of course everyone likes different things so take this type of advice with a grain of salt) but it’ll take some time to get used to it if you’re coming from a small mouse such as the Viper Mini. different polling rates can be selected by holding the CPI button at the bottom of the XM1r for 2 seconds and then letting go of the button. Power-saving features are either being disabled (corded connection) or optimized (wireless), squeezing every last bit of performance out of the XM2w. Both the XM2w and its dongle use an STM32 Dual-Core MCU that incorporates a 64MHz ARM Cortex-M4 Core which handles the main tasks of the mouse and an additional 32Mhz ARM Cortex-M0 Core which exclusively manages the wireless data transmissions, ensuring high performance and advanced power-saving capabilities in all wireless modes. For me personally it just goes a bit too wide at the back, but aside from that this is a fantastic shape.

Additional specifications, which will appeal to esports professionals, include a tracking speed of 400 IPS, polling rates of 125, 500 and 1000 Hz (1000Hz by default) and a lift off distance of 1mm (2mm via software). IMPORTANT NOTICE: BEFORE YOU CAN USE THE XM1r CONFIGURATION SOFTWARE (BETA), YOUR XM1r NEEDS TO RUN ON FIRMWARE 1.I said it in my review of the XM1 RGB: ‘ if it were up to me I’d bring over these upgrades [that were made to the RGB] to the regular edition as well and leave the XM1 line at that for now‘ and they sure listened to that first part. The XM1 is and feels quite a bit bigger than the Viper Mini so you’re probably not going to be cramping as easily I would say. In case the flashing process fails with the XM1 RGB being unresponsive and both LEDs blinking Red, hit the "Update Firmware" button once again using the keyboard or a second mouse, that is not an XM1 RGB (otherwise it will more or less randomly flash one of them, but not necessarily the one you wanted to flash). As with other XM1 mice these feet aren’t the absolute fastest in the business, but I don’t mind that as I am personally not a fan of super slick mouse feet.
