When Grace Lawson picks up a newly developed set of family photographs, there is a picture that doesn't belong-a photo from at least twenty years ago with a man in it who looks strikingly like her husband, Jack. For Paul Copeland, the county prosecutor of Essex, New Jersey, mourning the loss of his sister has only recently begun to subside.

When Grace Lawson picks up a newly developed set of family photographs, there is a picture that doesn’t belong-a photo from at least twenty years ago with a man in it who looks strikingly like her husband, Jack. The Five (2016) and Safe (2018 – starring Michael C Hall, Amanda Abbington and Audrey Fleurot) were formulaic and frankly a bit daft. There are some of his book that are the exception, and I'm not saying if this is one of them or not.I think it does a good job of conveying the enter drama of the characters and showing us what they’re thinking and how they feel about certain things without dragging on for too long. Whilst this lacks the wonderful humour of the series, it is truly a riveting read, and in the tradition of all good thrillers, very hard to put down.

And she even says herself that she has it love you Jack was, she loved Jack for how she remembered him. One of them looks like her husband Jack in the days before she met him on a beach in France, where she had gone to escape from her celebrity as a survivor of a mass tragedy. A look at the author here will lead you to think that this is a thriller that will keep you glued to this book as you plough your way through it at too quick a pace. So I shall keep this short and for the person wanting a quick scan to find out how good this book is, try to mention the salient points. But on leaving his house, he is immediately snatched by a vicious, trained killer and bundled into the back of a waiting car. Coben does know how to entertain readers with his writing, so I guess I've got nothing much to complain about. what I would’ve done as I would’ve replaced all of the scenes that involve the cop and Swann with Grace and Jack just being a couple so that way when he gets kidnapped, it has more of an emotional shock to the viewer. Sometimes you just need a tale of good versus evil with lots of twists to take your mind off of things.
