Description

Egyptian hieroglyphics depict spotted cats that bear similarities to today’s Egyptian Mau cats, so it is entirely possible that this breed or its close ancestors were among those revered by ancient Egyptian people, perhaps more than 3,500 years ago. The head appears round but is slightly longer than broad. The nose is slightly concave curved when viewed in profile. The whisker pads are clearly pronounced, with a slight pinch. The chin is very firm. The eyes are slightly oval, large and slightly slanted. The cat may have any normal cat eye color. There is no relation between the eye and coat colors. Usually, Arabian Maus have bright green eyes. The ears are large, slightly forward and sideward-placed, a little long, and high-set on the skull. [2] Troubetsky wanted to ensure the Egyptian Mau was recognized and survived as a breed, so she wrote a breed standard, and started her own cattery under the name ‘Fatima’. Obeisance: None. Since Mao lost his original body, he is no longer bound to his contract. Therefore, he doesn't have an Obeisance. [2]

Mao Mao suffered childhood neglect from his father Shin Mao and possibly his sisters, which has caused an incessant need for him to be a "legendary hero" like they are. Mao Mao constantly tries to find ways to rise to their ranks and gain his family's respect. The mau has a triangular shaped head with large almond shaped eyes. The profile is gentle and nothing appears extreme, with the exception of the spotted tabby markings of the coat. Fact 3: The Egyptian Mau is a breed of cat that has the distinction of being the only natural spotted breed of domestic cat Great-Great Paternal Grandfather Twig (voiced by Griffith Kimmins), Mao Mao's grandfather who was a sumo warrior. The similarity between the character for calling a cat, and a cat’s face (frontal view) is seen by superimposing one over the other ( Figure 31). There is also a character which represents the bleat of a sheep (also pronounced mi3), and it too resembles a sheep’s face from the front. Depicting an animal’s head frontally is a reverent act—it gives the animal face, literally, in a culture that constantly thinks about preserving and losing face. Cats, it would seem sheep, were special creatures to early man, and so they earned a character that presented them as more than just their bodies. They were so special, they were depicted with faces. It is thought that Egyptian Maus are descendants of cats that were around in Egypt in ancient times and their resemblance to these cats is striking. As such they are thought to be one of the most ancient breeds on the planet. Cats were revered in Ancient Egypt and were often depicted in artwork sitting next to Pharaohs and on their tomb walls. Ice Slash: Badgerclops covers Mao Mao's sword with a freezing beam. The resulting sword slash can freeze a wide perimeter. A collection of coins. (Several of them were, ironically, melted when Adorabat and Badgerclops make a new mug as an apology and a replacement for breaking the old one)

As you can see in the video below, Mao Mao loves being the center of attention. While most other cats would feel overwhelmed by the attention and maybe even run and hid, she just basks in the attention. And that’s what makes her a professional car model. The Egyptian Mau is a very elegant muscular cat that boasts having a naturally occurring spotted coat which can be in any of three colours. They also are known for their "worried" expression thanks to their large bright green eyes and level brows. They also have lines that run either side of their noses which adds to their exotic looks. Male Egyptian Maus are typically larger than their female counterparts but both have slightly wedge-shaped rounded heads with males having more of a jowl than females. Seen in profile they have a slight contour from their foreheads down to the bridge of their noses. Muzzles are nicely rounded and chins are firm with cats having a level bite. The Arabian Mau cat breed is a natural breed, so it must reflect the morphology and behavioral features of the cats living on the Arabian Peninsula. The standard has been drafted on the observation and the description of physical characteristics, which have been found in the cats of this area average population, originating from the Middle East and in its descendants. No prefixed model has been followed. Why has no one noticed that miao2苗 has this connotation? The Chinese I have spoken to only learn a subset of their language. Many had never seen the characters for “pretty; charming girl.” One woman told me she learned Chinese as a child in a class of 50, and it was strictly rote; there was no pattern recognition of the language. But this association of miao2苗 with the shape of a female’s body could explain the logic behind miao2苗tiao0条, which means “(of a woman) slim, slender, graceful.” The character tiao2条 means “strip/item/article/clause/classifier for long thin things.” Chinese characters are very logical, but it is just the logic of an antiquated male. Figure 46. A list of words in Ancient Egyptian that begin with “mi” from https://pt.scribd.com/doc/10929802/Dictionary-of-Middle-Egyptian. Besides meaning “cat” (see bottom), these words center around making copies and semen (including the euphemistic word “waters”). Even “spine” could be a metaphor for an object which injects. The preponderance of words that signify for equivalency also shares the letter “T,” which was the feminine ending. Figure 9. This character says to make the sound a cat makes (written in three different typefaces at 90 points).

means “to see,” so by process of elimination, this implies that the rice character conveys the meaning of “obstruction.” “Myopia” is the condition of bad eyes. According to OED, “myopia” is related to “mystery,” which has “the base of μύειν to close (the lips or eyes), probably of imitative origin.” When we close our lips and hum, we make the mmm sound. Babies close their lips to take in food; if they don’t have enough food, they start making noises that sound like mmm as their lips try to take in food. “Mmm” is synonymous with hunger. “Mmm… mama” is the sound that says, “Feed me!”

Club recognition:

In " Ultraclops" he doesn't understand the expression "step on like a shoe", most likely because neither he, nor any other character in the series wears shoes. Pedigreed Egyptian cats were bred in Europe prior to the second World War, but few records survive. Like many cat breeds, the Egyptian Mau was nearly extinct by the end of World War II; food shortages and widespread devastation led to tragedy for pets all throughout the affected regions. Who is this Cat? "This male Cat is Ra himself, and he was called 'Mau' because of the speech of the god Sa, who said concerning him: 'He is like (mau) to that which he has made'; therefore, did the name of Ra become 'Mau.' The Mau is known for having what is considered a loyal, playful and friendly personality. [17] Maus are more temperature sensitive than most breeds—they are fond of very warm temperatures.
