Four stars on quality because I felt the breathability of the garment is not what I was expecting, I have a Craghoppers that has kept me comfortable on very long walks. The Cornice has a relaxed cut and fits my large XXL frame with plenty of room for a heavy weight fleece underneath. While the style has changed little over the years I’m afraid the shape has narrowed and the medium leaves no room for extra warmth in winter.It is difficult to give five stars for a garment unless you have owned it for a couple of years as only time can tell if it is going to be worth the expense however initially I am very impressed.

If in colder weather a suitable synthetic or down insulated jacket with add further warmth however may be too warm if on a very active activity.
