My next steps would be to install an intake fan in gpu slot (silent one too), replace the CPU fan, put some dust filters on the top of the case and above the cpu, replace the GPU. Alternatively, the PCIe-Riser can be screwed down after installing the graphics card like I mentioned earlier. I can say that with fan there is very little amount of soace between the dust filter and the fan itself, so some thin rubber should fit no problem for noise dampening from the cooler.

The two fan mounts underneath the video card seem like a good solution to this problem, but for most dual slot cards, only less efficient slim fans can be used without directly interfering with the GPU fans. The Node 202 has a segregated layout with the CPU/motherboard occupying the right side along with the power supply while the right side is dedicated to the graphics card. Fractal’s power supply didn’t make any discernible noise during testing except for a slight buzzing when idle. this case could be amazing if the cover was made out of metal so that they could cut ventilation holes around the gpu.The Fractal Design Ridge is a very welcome evolution of the Fractal Design Node 202 from yesteryear. And as far as I know they do not work until the temp of GPU reaches 60C (like on all 9xx series, have no idea about the AMD r9 3xx).

this seems a good design, but the older silverstone milo ml08 has a bit more usability, even if a bit less cooling capacity. When you consider how few SFX PSUs there are on the market it probably makes sense to go for the combo package, if only to save yourself hassle. My thoughts on the 202 are best summed up as this: to any rookie pc builders this case should not be looked at as something intimidating just choose modest parts (65w cpu and a low profile cooler with a low to meduim-ish power bang for buck GPU like the gtx 1650 or 1660) and everything should be fine [Come join us on r/sff We'd love to chat with y'all (-: ].

In this case the dual core Pentium G3258 starts at a relatively warm 44 degrees but the temperature only rises to 61 degrees under extreme load. As you can see the cpu cooler comes with a thermal paste (some deepcool one), however I use Gelid GC-Extreme for my PC/laptop all the time.

I have looked at plenty of ITX cases and couldn't find any that is small enough and could handle a full sized GPU.

For the CPU, it's only ever a difference of 2°C or less, as in both orientations its ventilation area remains unblocked. Anyways I don't want it generate more heat than R9 380X/GTX 970 (Tonga is cooler than Tahiti and comparable with GM204) - no more than this 190W level.Prolimatech Samuel 17 (45mm) with Scythe Slip Stream Slim fan, total height - 57mm (think it should fit, though max height says 56mm).
