Many of the leading Guide Dog and Seeing Eye organisations use Halti to simplify and speed their important work with guide dogs. I gave it 4 stars because the lead is a bit too long for me (although excellent when it is put around the waist for hands free). Best used in conjunction with a double ended training lead such as the Mikki 7 in 1 lead or Halti Training Lead, linked to both the chest and shoulder rings of the harness.

Now that the foster dogs have moved on I still use this lead as it is lovely and long but can also be wrapped around my waist when needed. The Halti, linked to a light lead, slows the dog up, whilst still guiding with the traditional rigid harness. Keep your dog safe by remaining in control and keeping them on a short lead if you are near the road or close to unfamiliar dogs.
