Description

Construction machines are among the most numerous and popular Technic models, but it's been a few years since LEGO produced an excavator of this design. The main features include a moving arm and a shovel, running tracks and a detailed cabin with a red seat for the driver. They mention it's a quality product, very nice build, excellent Lego product, and enjoyable to put together. LEGO components meet stringent industry standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible and form a secure connection every time – it’s been that way since 1958. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984.

I said at the start that it is 'almost the perfect Technic model' but unfortunately the frosted windscreen prevents it from being faultless. Another, probably even easier, method is to put an axle-pin into the end of a liftarm and use it to push the 3L axle-pins out of their places.Whether it’s a birthday, Christmas, or ‘just because’ gift, young construction fans will love building and exploring this 2-in-1 LEGO® Technic™ Heavy-Duty Excavator (42121) toy set.

There’s no such thing as a boring outside activity; there are only boring machines that make things dull and tedious. Overall, I really like this particular construction vehicle Lego set because it comes with realistic functions. Given that a good deal of current sets aren't designed to be taken apart, they'd be superfluous anyhow. Brickset, the Brickset logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©1997-2024 Brickset ltd. This set looks great, altho the windshield does look off, and would make a good first Technic set for those of us who tend to stick with system sets. Put it this way: people are complaining about the windscreen for much the same reason people are complaining about the blue pins.
