The back is also where you’ll find the 2,600 mAH 22V lithium-ion battery pack, which is rated to last 9 hours but there’s an option battery pack that doubles that number. It has good sized rubberised feet that grip surfaces well and the carrying handle has also been rubberised to maintain a good grip. The Exos 9 brings its own unique approach to the table with a design that isn’t going to satisfy everyone’s tastes, and we have to appreciate the risk that Aiwa took with the Exos 9 design, opting for something out of the box, rather than relying on the traditional design style found in most party speakers.

They mention that it has good bass and treble, and there is none of that tinny sound that you get with most Bluetooth speakers.Aiwa does offer an optional carrying case which gives the speaker an IPX4 splash and dustproof rating. And if you like to stay put in your listening couch or chair, I'm sure this remote made exclusively for the Exos-9 would come in handy https://aiwa. AIWA EXOS 9 is in a class of its own, being a bluetooth speaker, but not a very portable one, thanks to its weight, which is almost funny high, of about 7 KG, but it has a lot going on for it, including APT-X, a battery of about 15600 mAh, and even built-in EQ.

But that said it's easily controlled with your mobile device ie volume and there is a volume control knob on the front of the unit. What a great sounding box, although I am surprised the Aux in is a bit noisy, I wouldn’t expect there to be any noise through the Aux in unless BT signal is leaking through. What’s more interesting, I saw someone link two Aiwas together and spreading them out 100 feet away from each other. If that’s not enough battery life for you, Aiwa offers an optional extended battery for longer play time.I find for best bass efficiency is to place the speaker around 3ft away with its back to a wall to allow the bass port to circulate air efficiently, as recommended by Awai themselves. A topic that we need to discuss is the sound signature of the Aiwa Exos 9 because if you’re looking for balanced, accurate audio – this isn’t going to be your best bet, and for that, I’d recommend looking at some home smart speakers, or bookshelf speakers for instance. The battery is user removable and you will be able to replace it once it runs out, but you won’t be able to charge the battery outside of the speaker, and you will need to use the power cord. Though I don’t read about the first review about the aiwa exos 9,I have loved this Bluetooth speaker because of the sound it provides as I have read in the reviews though some where complaining about its sound, for me it will work for me and am soon getting one for myself.

Although the Exos 9 is one of the best Bluetooth speakers for the money, it is not going to be up to par with a component system. Another thing we liked about the Exos-9 and the new Aiwa are the extra available accessories like the IPX4 carrying bag, the remote control and the higher capacity removable battery pack. ULTIMATE CONTROL: With the 5-band onboard graphic equalizer you have ultimate control over your music. The default AUX cable is not necessarily the most fancy one out there, but gets the job done, and since you’re getting a pretty similar sound out of its APT-X Bluetooth, you’re going to want to use that a lot. The customizable EQ makes the Exos-9 portable speaker perfect for every genre of music, podcasts and audiobooks.
