Our second edition to our family of drinks is Wild Island ‘High Croft’- named after the fertile island farm land where we gather our Autumn botanicals to infuse this premium gin. hand-picked local botanicals delicately refine nine berries, barks, seeds and peels during a painfully slow distillation. Even without considering it’s not their normal forte it’s a fantastic effort, a mellow and refreshing dry gin with aromatic notes of lemon and peppermint. We set out to create a truly exceptional spirit crafted around the native botanicals that grow on our crofts here in the Southern Hebrides off Scotland’s West coast. Wild Island Botanic Gin infuses naturally growing botanicals from the remote Hebridean island with 100% British Wheat spirit, to create a premium gin of the highest quality. With the addition of lavender and sweet orange, courtesy of our pollinator friends who are celebrated on the vibrant packaging, the gin is a true flavour of Kew and its values.
