Has to be combined with some other nice preservatives, like potassium sorbate to be broad spectrum enough. They had a couple of options in Superdrug for this powder, the lighter one being the coconut one, which is more of a white translucent powder, so I decided I’d prefer this one with a little bit of warmth to it. Its two winning properties that make it very suitable for this role is its outstanding spreadability for a smooth application and its low covering power, aka translucency to avoid clown-like effects.

It fit my combination skin perfectly, no creasing throughout the day, nothing accentuated, did not settle into wrinkles (but you do need to moisturize the skin under the eyes well before applying the powder, as it can accentuate the texture in this area). It’s part of 200 natural oils including lavender, ylang-ylang, bergamot, jasmine, geranium and it can be found in 90-95% of prestige perfumes on the market. Moving onto the packaging of the product itself: so the I heartone has this absolutely adorable peachy pattern and some really cute pastel colours; it actually feels really sturdy and decent.So, AP is one of the attempts by the cosmetics industry to solve the stability issues with vitamin C while preserving its benefits, but it seems to fall short on several things. This solution creates a slightly thicker coverage, fills pores better, and hides skin irregularities. Other than having a good safety profile and being quite gentle to the skin it has some other advantages too. If in doubt, or if you think there is a cake on your skin, it is better to brush off the excess product with a fan brush.

As for skincare, it makes the skin silky smooth, creates a subtle gloss and forms a protective barrier (aka occlusive).The transparent variant or the good with a subtle beige tint does not change the colour of the foundation. Firstly, it's stability is only similar to that of pure ascorbic acid (AA), which means it is not really stable. But you need to pick it up lightly on the brush and not rub it on the face, but tap it lightly, like with a feather.
