Yes, their cases are plastic (“thicc” plastic), yes they only use Cherry switches, yes they use Costar stabs, yes most of their key caps are thin ABS… But in the grand scheme of things, and depending on who you are, none of those things really matter. They have been on this game since 2004 and they are so far removed from what people think it's trendy today (insofar as “modern” mechanical keyboards are concerned) that it shows in their products. It’s just so close to the arrow keys that I end up hitting the up arrow rather than the shift key all the time. The MINILA met all my needs - a full-size Enter key and physical arrow keys, a function layer for everything else, and a full-size keyboard for the letters and numbers.

I was really blown away by it - at once I wanted to bring it back into the office and use it again, but although I loved the new sound profile - I’m still not sure it’s quieter than my silent red switches in the Vortex Cypher.
