ViewSonic opted for a row of buttons for their OSD navigation. There are dots here so you could easily tell what each button does without looking at the not so useful physical legends. Power consumption is ~37.1W at the monitor’s maximum brightness level. At our calibrated value, this goes down to 20.6W. Button to Pixel Input Lag

As for negatives - the swivel is not very useful. It's cool, but the monitor is so big that reading on it in portrait mode is awkward. The sRGB color mode won't work if the contrast is set high. It works if it is set around 50% which is the usable number. I have not tested that MSI model yet but based on its specifications, it should be a better gaming monitor. However, I am still using the XG2705 so I could vouch for its reliability. I’m not sure since I have yet to test it. But by specifications alone, the XG2705 wins here hands down.

Editor’s Choice Gaming Monitors – The Best Performance Money Can Buy Editor’s Choice Monitors – 1080p AOC 24G2 – Best 144Hz Gaming Monitor with Excellent Value Acer Nitro XV273 X –… The ViewSonic XG2705-2K puts emphasis on the essentials to give gamers a comfortable and enjoyable gaming experience. The monitor offers a fast IPS panel which is standard for monitors this year, unlike their previous models which often came with TN screens. Let’s see how the ViewSonic XG2705-2K compares to its competitors when it comes to performance and value per dollar. ViewSonic XG2705-2K Specifications Released this year, the XG2705-2K is a 27″ 1440P IPS gaming display made to one-up the XG2705 and perhaps the XG2405 – a fitting monitor to replace or even accompany both by specs alone. On Screen Display: Input Select, Audio Adjust, ViewMode, Colour Adjust, Manual Image Adjust, Setup Menu Color adjustment is decent. We wish to see more options here though like color temperature based on Kelvin and the ability to change saturation along with gamma level options. Note that some presets here will disable some functions or features. The sRGB color preset for example will disable the contrast control and 1ms mode.

Motion Picture Response Time (MPRT) is the numbered approach to demonstrate the level of perceived motion blur on a display. Basically, a lower persistence value indicates less motion blur. Refresh rate and the sampling method plays a major part here whereas a higher refresh rate nominally features better display persistence values. After years of absolutely refusing to upgrade from 1080p, I through caution to the wind and started looking for something that would suit me. 1440p always sounded nice but with an older gpu I was seriously concerned with the hit I'd take performance wise.

Low Energy Consumption

I use this as my secondary monitor. My primary is a ViewSonic XG270QC (27" curved FreeSync Premium Pro HDR display). On Screen Display: Input Select, Audio Adjust, ViewMode, Color Adjust, Manual Image Adjust, Setup Menu A step up in terms of resolution and performance, the ViewSonic XG2705-2K is a true upgrade from the XG2405 and the XG2705. Gamers who got those displays are welcome to grab this upgrade – especially with its affordable MSRP in tow.

Hello, can you please tell me is this monitor good for photo editing? What can be problematic and which thinks are good

Viewing Comfort

Calibrating the ViewSonic XG2705-2K further improved its dE average to an even better 0.67 which makes it usable for editing work. Combine that with the extended gamut coverage and you get a formidable monitor for content creation and digital arts. However, gamers shouldn’t worry about this since it is not essential, and the cost of a colorimeter is quite high. Got 2 of these, and out of the box they look great. Easily assembled, and the mounts feel sturdy, Displayport Cables included La calidad de la pantalla es impresionante. Se notan esos 2K y se puede activar G Sync con mi tarjeta GTX 1650. Los 144HZ son una maravilla.
