This product is very easy to work with , just prepare surface & brush it on following instructions on tin. Needs more than one coat to acheive it's full colour depth but we found very easy to apply one first coat dried , just lightly rub down woodwork and put on second coat. Dulux Woodsheen gives beautiful, long lasting colour and durable protection to wood surfaces inside and outside of your home Woodsheen has excellent adhesion properties and provides up to 4 years protection. It has great colour and flexibility.

With this brilliant varnish you can bring some elegance to your home. Apply 2 coats with a brush, or for maximum protection on surfaces exposed to extreme weather, 3 coats. Apply using light, even strokes in the direction of the grain, avoiding overlap. Leave each coat to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the next coat, sanding down lightly between coats and wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or in high humidity. The final colour will depend upon the wood type, previous treatment and the number of coats applied, and may look different to the colour in the can. Coverage will depend on the porosity of the wood. Application : Brush or roller only. For health and safety reasons related to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Do not thin. After suitable preparation and priming, in the case of bare wood with the appropriate basecoat (see datasheet), apply 2 or 3 coats of Dulux Trade Ultimate Woodstain.
