I'm surprised many people pick up vanilla in this fragrance as I don't detect it at all and vanilla is one of my most favourite notes. The scent of this brings me back to the late 80s/ early 90s when that show Remote Control was popular on MTV, Aresnio Hall on late night tv; mini skirts, acid washed jeans and parachute pants were some of the fashions. This perfume is still exactly what it set out to be all those years ago, and I find that to be simply wonderful. As with other fruit flavored fragrances on me, the fruit lingers even when it comes time to the dry down. Top notes are Peach, Apricot, Bergamot and Green Notes; middle notes are Heliotrope, Orris Root, Rose, Jasmine and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood, Amber, Cinnamon and Cedar.This was a popular perfume in my NJ high school- it launched in exactly the same year I entered as a freshman. This and Fire and Ice are definitely two old-school scents for me, that bring back plenty of memories. Maybe this certain fake peach is really cheap to formulate so in this it's yucky, cuz it's the most prominent note?I only perceive the fruit on its way out for a short period of time, then the vanilla remains mixed with the flowers, I get the jasmine more than any other flower. I'm still rather more interested in Amber Romance (no fake-peach WACK at the beginning, thank you), but it's worth noting that Exclamation is still around for a reason.
