There’s just ONE MONTH TO GO until the second book in my new series, The Body in the Blitz, is published! I cannot believe I didn’t read this book before, when I saw it was coming out in August I thought it was going to be a mini mystery, so I didn’t read it straight away. They have travelled to London for spy training, and are staying on a quiet street close to the Ministry, home to an unlikely collection of people thrown together by the war. My favourite character is Hazel as sometimes in the book she is very amusing and she is very perceptive. I do prefer it when Hazel solves the murder at the same time as Daisy, and in this one Daisy seemed to uncover the whole thing on her own, though that is probably personal preference and didn’t really affect my enjoyment of the book.

I don’t know whether anyone else noticed but on page 343 the paragraph beginning with Mr Mansour their is a word I think meant to be allow but it just says. A bit through the case nearing the end when they had a discussion and ruled Heppy out I was a bit like omg… I am not stupid after all… I am a good detective… How do they know heppy was sleepwalking.I first read Murder Most Unladylike in 2016 when I was 8 and even though I am 13 this month I still love them! So I understand you thinking things have been spoilt but just for one second think of my girls who if I’d just let read the book the ramifications on our family and the grief for daddy.

I know you said to read the book first before commenting but as a mother I appreciated the heads up. Daisy Wells, Hazel Wong, Alexander Arcady, Uncle Felix (to tell Daisy and Hazel to go back to Deepdean. Also In Aminas letter what was the secret code I lsitened to it on audio so I only heard someone read it!I would so love to see what they get up to as adults, and to see if Alexander and George stay close to daisy, Hazel and Amina.
