Looked through the brochure, found a lovely looking hotel, went online to book, with all the codes, only to find none of the hotels in brochure were online, difficulty getting dates we wanted, not an easy process, still haven't been able to book anything, really disappointing, would NOT recommend this product. On booking these, the tickets were restricted view and the restaurant cancelled on us a week before, which we later found out was because it was closed down after rat droppings were found in the kitchen.

Head to Hampshire and explore the New Forest National Park, spend a night in the Lake District and marvel at beautiful scenery or enjoy a tranquil break in Devon.There was no question that we were not going to stay a second night and we checked out by 8am to make the journey home. The small bathroom, although quite clean had black mould at the bottom of the shower curtain and a very rusty pedal bin. The breakfast is really top quality and the attention of all the staff has been extremely warm and pleasant.There were no complimentary items in the bathroom and maybe this was due to covid but the issue we had was that there was no soap provided to wash our hands! From glamping in the country to luxurious historic hotels, there’s plenty to sniff out in our selection of dog-friendly breaks. The availability at Haughton Hall is really bad - had to book months in advance, I booked in July 2023 and their first availability was end of December 2023 and as we couldn’t do that date the next available was mid-January. The reason for our displeasure it’s just not up to a great standard atall, the shower door was disgusting, dead spider on the wall, a dried bogey (we think) on the wall, dirt all around the chair, blood stain on the pillow, there was only one spare pillow, the maintenance of the room was low and shoddy having said that, the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet apart from the huge gusts of winds as the weather wasn’t great.
