Description

But when a rulebook is incomprehensible and flat out omits rules altogether, it’s more than a slog; it’s unforgivable. This continues until one player feels like they’ve narrowed down the possibilities enough to take a stab - sorry, poor choice of words - at the solution. In this mystery board game based on the hit true crime podcast Casefile, delve into the case of the murdered Casey Parker and be the first to solve it.

Remember, this is a game of deception and one of the players may plant false evidence to throw you and the other detectives off track. The cards need to be separated into the five different types: Weapon, Location, Motive, Suspect and False Evidence and shuffled. The Electronic Spin the Bottle Game invites players to Spin the Bottle then choose whether to Tell the Truth? Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of postage, as we can't be held responsible for goods that have either been damaged or lost in transit. Solve crimes around a fictional small town, piecing together the evidence to discover where it happened, how it happened, and who did it. Or maybe, you could even have to give up your case tracker, and swap this with all your notes so far with another player. It removes the tedious die rolling and slow progress of moving from one room to another, and focuses purely on the deduction and deception. All the while, under the time pressure of knowing everyone else is wanting to do the same before you do.There is a small amount of flavour text on the evidence cards too, which is a nice touch, although largely irrelevant. WE SAT THERE LOST AT HOW THIS GAME IS SUPPOSED TO PLAYED BECAUSE IT FEELS LIKE WE WERE JUST TRADING CARDS BACK AND FORTH AND ROLLING A DIE WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT WE WERE ACTUALLY DOING. The artwork on the cards and case trackers is very good and doesn’t feature any gory images, so is suitable for all players.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. You and a group of friends can take on the role of detectives, working together to solve a murder mystery. The result of this will cause them to reveal a certain card to all players helping them out, or if they are lucky and roll an X, they can do nothing. At this point, the leading player can play one false evidence card if they choose, and then play moves to the right.Put yourself in the detective’s shoes and trade evidence with other players to get closer to the truth. But I’ve got to say that Case File is the first time in living memory I’ve ever intentionally thrown a match just to stop playing. With evidence cards to help you piece together the clues, this game is sure to provide plenty of fun and intrigue.
