Enjoy this exciting new chapter in Serena Valentino's best-selling Villain Tales series, featuring a striking new cover design and Hades, the menace of the underworldAbout the AuthorSerena Valentino. I was expecting a new revelation about why he was banished to the underworld (per the Disney version), but it’s the same story from the movie “Hercules. I really enjoy reading the Disney Villains series, especially to see how all these characters’ stories entwine to create one bigger story. It all just happened so fast and there wasn’t much of a fight and I feel like the odd sisters would have been so mad that Hades took the original Circe. Circe put the odd sisters back together into one body, Lucinda, but it didn’t make her whole, it turned her crazy. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I get that the mythology version and the Disney version of him are very different but that didn’t work for me. I really loved how the story crossed over with other Disney characters as I am a Disney nerd and I would thoroughly recommend this book. Fire and Fate, in my opinion, is the best entry in the series so far, leaving a taste of "wanting some more" that will be hard to quench.

Intrigued, Hades befriends the mysterious Odd Sisters and makes a deal that will change fate's course. Without going into too much detail, there are two versions of Hades, and the one in the movie is the evil bafoon.

So, don’t let that sway you, except that I do think a basic understanding of the Disney story helps a lot in this series. The tenth book in the New York Times bestselling Villains series takes a dive into the Underworld, exploring how Hades turned from god to villain. He was rather one note from beginning to end which I found such a shame because there are so many directions you can go with Hades and still be successful in getting his character bang on. And now I'm also curious as when we can see how the other stories will tie into this and how Hades and the witches will impact the story from now on.

Hades's fate has been foretold for ages and his battle against Hercules is as legendary as it was tragic. Hades was fascinated by the odd sisters and wanted to be apart of their life so he took Circe away and made the odd sisters believe she was killed in the fire Maleficent caused in the fairylands. They changed the events in the book of fairytales so will it have a domino affect and cause all the other stories to change. Raising new questions on who the next villain tale will be about and answering questions along the way of how the Disney world is linked per story. The tenth book in the New York Times bestselling Villains series takes a dive into the Underworld, exploring how Hades turned from god to villain. It provides a lot of background about how Hades became King of the Underworld and his relationship with Persephone which is perfect for young readers or people new to Greek mythology, but it can be a bit boring if you are knowledgeable about the topic. Hades had the odd sisters split his fate in half so one half could defeat Zeus and the other half could stay with the odd sisters but it didn’t work out the way he had hoped.
