Founded only in 1989, Bodegas Terras Gauda has quickly established itself as the producer of definitive Albariño, one of today's most fashionable white wines and an Eton Vintners bestseller. If the person being thus queried does not know the ritual (and so replies in the negative), the querent will remark ""He's an awfully nice fellow, but he never remembers to pass the port"". Port also known as Port wine, Vinho do Porto, Porto, or Porto wine is a sweet, fortified wine from the Douro Valley in the northern part of Portugal; it takes its name from the city of Oporto, the centre of port export and trading.

Red port can be made from many types of grapes (castas), but the main ones are Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cão, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Touriga Francesa, and Touriga Nacional. Although it bears the word ""vintage"" in its name, single-Quinta Vintage Port is produced from a particular vineyard and usually from a lesser ""undeclared"" year.Available by the bottle or case, your wine gift will be individually tailored with a personal message, tasting notes and vintage description. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made. In 1820 the two brothers, William and John Graham, started as textile merchants and later ventured into the wine industry.

Graham's 40 year old tawny port is for those who appreciate the extraordinary, complex and subtle taste of time. The Graham’s Master Blender composes this blend from wines put to aside in the cellar by his great-grand-father, his grand-father, his father and his uncles. In other old English traditions when port is decantered, commonly at the dining table, the whole bottle should be finished in one sitting by the diners, and the table should not be vacated until this is done. Today, Graham's is one of the most respected port wine producers in the world, known for exceptional quality and unique taste. Graham’s wines are produced in the five mountain vineyards located in the Upper Douro region in Portugal. An array of flavours on the palate, from delicate fruit and raisins, to toasted toffee and chocolate. Deliveries to Jersey, Channel Islands, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and some areas of Scotland may take longer and are subject to a surcharge.

The continued English involvement in the port trade can be seen in the names of many port shippers: Croft, Taylor, Dow, Graham, Symington. Complex and demanding measures are taken to produces Grahams’ exquisite ports, from the careful selection of every grape to the number of years seasoning until their peak of maturity is attained. This wine is composed by Graham’s Master Blender, Charles Symington, from wines put aside in the cellar by his great-grandfather, grandfather, father and uncles. Because it has already been exposed to oxygen, an open bottle of tawny resists oxidation the longest of all ports. The 40-year-old tawny release from the famed port house of Graham's – the oldest in their regular range.
