Thunderous dub and crisp ambient highs—a wide sonic palette awash in soul-nourishing layers of aural color. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).

Leftism is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Leftfield (Neil Barnes and Paul Daley), originally released in 1995 on Columbia Records. We carry a broad range of CDs and vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and specialise in indie, alternative, rock, punk, metal plus a few other genres. The album was crafted with long-time studio and mix engineer Adam Wren, and features guest contributions from Fontaines D.

Leftfield (originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley), have been at the cutting edge of dance music since the 1990s, releasing albums that have become some of the most influential electronic records of all time around the world with their debut LP Leftism being widely regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic LPs ever released. In 2010, Neil Barnes reignited the Leftfield name, and went on to release an acclaimed album (Alternative Light Source) touring the world with the full live band.

The album contains guest spots from musicians not associated with dance music at the time such as John Lydon from Public Image Ltd.With Leftism and Rhythm + Stealth they caught a wave and became a household name, creating a blend of expansive dance music that sat outside the specific thrust of any scene, and then they went on a protracted hiatus. Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. The album cover is a shot taken by lauded photographer Steve McCurry, whose work includes the celebrated photograph Afghan Girl. Neil Barnes brought the group back in 2010 and went on tour, recorded a new album and generally pushed Leftfield back into the limelight.

Vibrant, full of positivity and alive with sincere emotion, this is electronic music in its purest, most rebellious form. The first album in 7 years from seminal electronic music pioneers and twice Mercury Prize Nominated, Leftfield. Henderson makes a major contribution to the album, especially on Totem Pole, where his solos showed off his singular style, threatening to upstage Morgan, who is also fairly impressive here. This cover image is a marked departure to previous Leftfield album imagery, chosen to reflect the warmth and positivity of the album and to celebrate the connections that we make with others throughout our lives.

To be quite honest, I wasn't too blown away with the original version of This Is What We Do, but this remix album, on the other hand, is, surprisingly, one of my absolute favorite releases from Leftfield - a smooth, deep and blissed-out trip which I enjoy from start to finish. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. As you all know on new lps the static stops the record from slipping out the inner so this records dirt lines and grease marks was direct from the factory in that condition. Their last tour (in 2017) featured 7 sold out UK shows (including 2 X Brixton Academies), a sold out world tour and various festival headlines. After reaching a new audience through Idris Elba's Gucci ad, this is their 4th album in their 28 year history.
