After Katya, Anthony was captured in several paparazzi photos with a succession of girls but none of them were seen with him frequently e.g. RHCP performed at a surprise concert to support the opening of a Damian Hirst exhibition in Venice and he was seen kissing an unknown girl who was never seen in public with him again (Source: Daily Mail) But there s a price to pay for both success and excess and in SCAR TISSUE, Kiedis writes candidly of the overdose death of his soul mate and band mate, Hillel Slovak, and his own ongoing struggle with an addiction to drugs.

O’Connor was famous at the time as a singer she met and dated Anthony Kiedis but she later became a Catholic Priest and has since apparently converted to Islam. I never thought Anthony was anything special. But after reading this book, I can't stand Anthony Kiedis. The man seriously acts as if the planet revolves around him. It's not like he is Flea or Frusciante for fux sake ;-)

All in all, it is an interesting story about a great band and its leader, but Anthony Kiedis didn't suit me as the best choice to present it.
