Description

Doctor Who: Claws Of Axos (DVD)". BBC Shop. Archived from the original on 20 October 2013 . Retrieved 19 October 2013. In the US, sets typically release a few months after the UK release, with the exception of seasons 12, 19 and 18 which were released closer to, or in some cases before, the UK release. That aside I am very happy with this release as I am big Pertwee era fan despite McCoy having been my Doctor. All episodes contain the original mono audio. Terror of the Autons and The Dæmons (along with the latter’s omnibus version) contain new optional 5.1. Autons also contains new optional CGI from Chris Petts and Sally Clayton, mostly to clean up poor CSO, but also to replace the troll and the Nestene.

The TARDIS crew travel to Amsterdam to revisit locations and reminisce about Season 20 and their time on the programme. It kind of throws everything including the kitchen sink and pipes, and out of nowhere develops ideas decades ahead of its time. Behind the Sofa – New episodes with Katy Manning, Stewart Bevan, Janet Fielding, Sarah Sutton, Sacha Dhawan and Anjli Mohindra. Including Australian interviews with Peter Davison and Janet Fielding shot during production of this season. Doctor Who - Story #059: The Daemons". TVShowsOnDVD.com. Archived from the original on 3 December 2013 . Retrieved 30 November 2013.

The Axons land on Earth supposedly peacefully, even offering a new energy source. However, that is not their real purpose. I am guessing these were transfers from the DVD SE are possibly due to available source material i.e. film as opposed to videotaped sequences. Just curious as to why Inferno, Colony and the Time Monster looked noticeably better than these two episodes using the same technique if any one can shed any light on this? The Master creates the Keller Machine, a device that appears to rehabilitate prisoners, but instead kills them.

Also included on the box set is the specially shot Return of the Autons trailer to promote this box set starring Katy Manning and Stewart Bevan. Additionally there 5.1 Surround Sound is available for Terror of the Autons and The Dæmons. Over the whopping EIGHT discs there is a wealth of additional features; studio footage, treats from the archive including BBC production files, convention footage, photo galleries, scripts, costume designs and even more. Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 8 (c) Bedwyr Gullidge Overall The Direct Route - Doctor Who directors Michael Briant, Graeme Harper and Tim Combe take an epic road trip to all the filming locations from Season 8 as they discuss directing the show in the early 1970s. Doctor Who - Story #057: The Claws Of Axos". TVShowsOnDVD.com. Archived from the original on 3 December 2013 . Retrieved 29 November 2013. Doctor Who: The Daemons". British Video Association. Archived from the original on 20 October 2013 . Retrieved 19 October 2013.Doctor Who: The Claws of Axos – Special Edition (DVD)". BBC Shop. Archived from the original on 18 October 2013 . Retrieved 19 October 2013. Doctor Who Claws of Axos Special Ed". Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Archived from the original on 3 December 2013 . Retrieved 28 November 2013. Repeat Omnibus Edition - 90-minute movie version edited by Barry Letts in consultation with Christopher Barry, for a repeat screening just after Christmas 1971 (89'16" | 4.3 | 1971)
