Description

Coming with Bluetooth 5.0 and support for the Qualcomm aptX codec, the Edifier really excels when it comes to signal stability and audio response. The audio delays are unnoticeable, and I’ve never heard my music jitter or stutter before. The Edifier X3 fit snugly in the ear immediately. As a result, they are extremely comfortable in short stints and don’t fatigue the ears in longer sessions. Taking the buds out of the charging case for the first time, they immediately switch to pairing mode, which speedily connects to the device of your choice.

Strangely, the product information for the Edifier X3 mentions that you can accept / reject calls. I couldn’t seem to find that function with this review unit. Despite that, I’m still fine without it as I often answer call directly on my phone. Battery Life They are very easy to pair to a device and have one-step pairing for fuss free use (the earbuds automatically pair to each other and the last paired device for a faster connection when removed from the charging case). One of the strengths of the Edifier X3 is the noise reduction technology, thanks to which the headphones are lightweight and have enough fit to provide high-quality passive noise isolation to give an immersive user experience. The charging case is equally nondescript with the same material choice and colour as the Edifier X3 buds themselves. With a small magnet keeping the charging case together, there is only a micro-USB charging port, and a small ‘Edifier’ logo adorning the caddy. There are no LED notifications anywhere, only on the buds themselves.

I had considered giving them a 10 out of 10. The reason for the 9 was that I felt the closing mechanism could be improved ever so slightly. I also thought that the placement of the charging port could be moved to the bottom to give the whole thing a cleaner look. Edifier X3 Review Accessible Audio Description The bottom of the charging case is flat for easy stability and contains information including the product, model, charging information, battery capacity, and other information. Earphones Considering its price, the sound quality on the Edifier X3 was actually pretty good. The earbuds are equipped with Qualcomm® aptX™ audio decoding technology and SBC codec support which are designed to improve Bluetooth sound quality. By now, you should know I’m a big fan of audio freedom, and that means no cables at all when it comes to audio enjoyment. The Edifier X3 TWS earbuds caught my attention because of its price and features. Edifier was kind enough to send us a unit for review, we tried it for a week and here’s our thoughts on the Edifier X3.

There is no wear detection onboard, so when you take the earbuds off, do know that the music will still be playing and won’t be automatically paused. Vocals make the most outspoken part of the X3's sound signature. They sound forward, no matter if it's darker male voices or the highest-pitched (female) voices. Singers sound clear - sometimes even a bit too much. There's a lot of body and space in the treble on the X3, and the sound can be a bit 'splashy' at times when playing cymbals or claps - something you can experience as a little hiss over the higher tones. This is also noticeable in the highest female or higher-pitched male vocals, which can come across a little bright. Unless you're turning the volume all the way up (the X3 can go quite but not extremely loud, by the way), the upper-mid tones and highs keep in control, but the Edifier is still a little brighter than most earphones.

The Edifier X3's microphone is fine for the price. It does its job. You can be understood by your conversation partners and that is the most important thing. To control Edifier X3 there is a high-precision touchpad on the top of the earphone handle which can achieve precise control with highly responsive touch sensitivity. The control consists of turning on / off the headphones, answering / keeping / rejecting a call, turning on / off the music, waking up the voice assistant, and other operations but does not have the function of customizing touch or increasing and reducing volume. Further emphasizing the brighter sound, the lower-mids are toned-down. Darker electronic tones and instruments like drums and cello's, or the piano's darker notes, play a merely supportive role on the Edifier sound. As a bonus of the clear X3-sound, you are treated to an airy soundstage, with good left-right separation and detail. In easier going songs, it's also possible to place instruments. The sound is decent. But it does leave something to be desired. Let's start with the latter. The Edifier X3 does not have enough bass. The low notes are there, but they are underrepresented. Your most powerful song is somewhat weakened with these X3 earbuds. And that is of course a shame. If you are really a sound freak, you better go for other earplugs.

A striking plus is that these earplugs come with slightly longer ear tips. That guides the sound into your ear better and you hear less ambient noise. The bass on the Edifier X3 gives a nice thump that can pulsate in your ears and delivers enough power to pump up the music. In pop, modern dance music and hip-hop, it's definitely possible to feel the bass slam. Yet, it doesn't force itself in front in music that doesn't ask for it. Whichever genre you're listening, there's an enjoyable bass amount - including sub-bass depths when asked for. The Edifier X3 TWS earbuds each have a 60mAh battery in them that gives about 4 hours 55 minutes of battery life on maximum volume. The charging case has a 500mAh battery that gives it an additional 15 hours of usage, which is pretty sweet considering the price tag of the X3 TWS earbuds. It can definitely last you the entire day. But can you hear yourself too? Not very clear. This is due to the silicone ear tips that really close seamlessly in your ear. It is striking that the ear tips are slightly longer than other ear tips.Overall, I really like the design & styling. They are understated and will suit everyone regardless of your overall fashion style. I quite like the fact that some people would call them ‘boring’. It’s a plus, in my opinion. I don’t want everyone to notice I’m wearing a pair of decent headphones especially if I’m ever travelling through no so desirable areas. IP55 Waterproof Rating Tai nghe Edifier X3 sử dụng chipset Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0 với công nghệ tiết kiệm năng lượng tăng thời gian sử dụng. Đồng thời đảm bảo khả năng truyền tải tín hiệu ổn định. No, the Edifier X3 are not good and you better look at other brands for this price. Nothing has really convinced us that these earplugs are worth it. The earplugs are pure mediocre. Because the Edifier X3 are built a bit wider, it is more difficult to close the microphone input because it hits part of your ear. So that is positive again. Calling with the Edifier X3
