About this deal

There were many sentences that went like this; “whenever you make the energy shift to overcome your test, you will be rewarded with abundance.” The Universe is a recurring theme in this book. According to the author we need to have faith in the Universe and it will provide for us, if we have an abundance mindset. This means that as long as you think there's plenty of everything to go around, instead of having a scarcity mindset, that the Universe will provide. This is starting to sound a whole lot like a religion, does it not? Remember, she already knew a talent agent who helped her get a meeting with Penguin and was probably already well-known at Vogue magazine thanks to her previous “It-girl” status. If Roxie didn’t already have these connections, would the results have been the same?

But the book jumps from this fact to assert that visualisation can change the ‘outer’ world around us. We hear that emotions can change reality (59%). But there is no evidence for such a claim. Visualising an (inner) pile of gold in your mind cannot make an (outer) pile of gold appear on a table. Otherwise, why would commercial companies waste time and money digging mines? Do not allow negative thoughts to roam free, unregulated and unmanaged. Take ownership of them and start to practise managing your thoughts so that they can work for you, rather than against you.” Roxie Nafousi | Manifest So, despite all these comments on the book, I would still give it a three star rating? Well, yes, like I said, this book manages to illustrate how manifesting works in an easy step-by-step plan. Basically, if you strip down this book to just the steps, without all the testimonials, you have got a basic understanding of how manifesting works. Too bad that the final step is just telling you to "have faith in the Universe", which basically is just a very easy way to explain when it doesn't work for people and another point to prove that manifesting is not for everyone. MANIFEST is the essential guide for anyone and everyone wanting to feel more empowered in their lives. Self-development coach and 'Queen of Manifesting' Roxie Nafousi will show you how in just seven simple steps you can understand the true art of manifestation and learn how to create the life you have always dreamed of. The book’s author and self-development coach, Roxie Nafousi is even being hailed as the “manifesting queen” by Forbes and “the face of manifesting” by The Times.Roxie Nafousi] breaks down how to use the power of your mind to change your everyday reality and debunks common misconceptions about the practice.”—Today.com The book tries a second strategy to explain how ‘inner’ states create ‘outer’ outcomes, when it appeals to the Law of Attraction. We ‘attract what we feel’ (8%) so if we are full of positive emotions, we will attract positive outcomes. But this idea is based on the fallacy of equivocation, using the word ‘positive’ in different senses. There is no evidence that thinking (ie ‘inner’ states) can directly cause ‘outer’ outcomes,’ like piles of gold to appear. So, it is pseudo-science to assert otherwise. This suggests that when people appeal to examples from their own life to justify it, they are confusing correlations of good fortune with causation of good fortune.

As seen in Today.com, Thrive Global, Women’s Health, PopSugar, Forbes, Elle, Bustle, Insider, The Zoe Report, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, The Spruce, and many more. But anyway, if you also dislike long-winded and scientific self-help books then Manifest is definitely for you. It’s really about empowering you to become the best version of yourself – manifesting isn’t just about attracting things into your life, it’s also about how you can navigate life in the most powerful way, and make miracles happen,” Nafousi says. “For example there’s a chapter on self-love, and it’s all about being proactive, stepping outside of your comfort zone, using intent and inspiration.” It’s no wonder this grab-life-with-both-hands approach is resonating after two stultifying years of a pandemic. So if you do end up reading this book, please be aware that even the author’s life is probably unattainable and you really need to be realistic with yourself about what you can achieve. The change felt so magical, yet at the same time it made so much sense to me that it felt entirely logical too. My life transformed in every way imaginable; not an inch of it was left the same. And it all happened because of one thing: understanding the true art of manifestation.” Roxie Nafousi | Manifest Nospraust mērķi un doties uz to- tas skan daudz labāk vai ne?! Patiesībā nav svarīgi, zem kādas definīcijas jūs sev to iebarojiet, svarīgi jau ir savas dzīves uzlabošana.

roxienafousishares the 7 steps to manifest and live our best life. While she shares about how we have the power to create and live our Dream life, she shares about how our perspective plays a big role. I did try as much as possible to approach this book with an unbiased opinion but sometimes I just couldn’t grasp the fluffiness of the language. Get crystal clear on the person you want to be and love that person unconditionally from this very moment. Know that this version of you already exists within you, dormant, but patiently waiting to be brought to life.” Roxie Nafousi | Manifest While reading this book, I was going through a challenging phase of imposter syndrome and comparing myself to others online. This idea is a misunderstanding of Science. The central problem for modern science is that reality seems to behave differently at large scale, and at quantum scale. The central insight of science is that you cannot generalise truths from the quantum realm to the realm which we are familiar with. But this is exactly what the book does. So, it is appealing to pseudo-science. I think this book could be eye opening for someone who isn’t familiar at all with self love, gratitude and visualisation but perhaps those who are this book might not offer too much. However, if you are looking for a more in-depth book on manifestation then I would continue to shop around. However, from the get-go, I had a few reservations about how manifestation was portrayed in this book. I can’t help but wonder if this is Roxie’s privilege coming through. Someone who clearly hasn’t had to struggle with achieving the things she wanted.

A meeting of science and wisdom, manifesting is a philosophy and a self-development practice to help you reach for your goals, cultivate self-love, and live your best life. Plus the step by step guide is really helpful. Not many self help or books like these give you a thorough manuel of how to get where you want to go, like ive read plenty that tell you « jumanji is this so do it!! » but i am a master procrastinator so unless you give me step by step within more steps on how to do it, im not gonna. The author is careful to avoid identifying the universe with a ‘god,’ but she does occasionally use the word ‘divine.’ We hear, for example, that ‘Divine timing is the timing of the universe,… of an energetic force greater than ourselves’ (81%).

Setting out to be a socialite says she wanted to be associated with high profile famous people. She hasn’t changed much from her days of getting with the wealthy artist as she claims, she then got with an actor. She still only associates with influencers or famous people. She wants to be in that world. You can only stay in that world if you also make something out of yourself and have status yourself. So from becoming the nobody girl with no talent she made herself a motivational coach/author, so now she feels she’s part of that clan and feels like she fits in. This is the influencers world. Very hollow, superficial, insecure and chasing fame and money. But how are you supposed to learn from your mistakes if you just blame everything on the universe and don’t hold yourself accountable for what goes wrong? I loved the way this book is created, with apt examples, exercises, questions for readers and a practical approach, it's an inspiring read that will help you while you manifest.
