Andddddddddddd then that's when all the crazy starts to happen. Between the lust-filled moments, the revenge, and the twists, my head was spinning! Once I finished, my mind was reeling with theories, trying to figure out who is in on what, what everyone's motives really are, who's lying, who's being set up. And I am STILL thinking about it. I loved every single character in this (I didn't forget you Easton. You stole my heart!), both good and evil.

Reed Royal is the villain disguised as a pretty prince. Taking a bite out of him would be a huge mistake." Erin Watt is the pseudonym under which two incredibly talented authors have written what has been described as the most captivating young adult romance fiction series of the century. The series, The Royals, has taken the world of young adult book lovers by storm, owing to its hypnotizing plot and the admirable development of its characters. One can only admire the work of these two exceptionally talented writers, but their fans can simply not wait for the series to be continued beyond the three books; for other characters in the series to share the limelight that Ella, the main character, has all to herself in the series. Ella, you're wanted in the principal's office," Ms. Weir says before I can step inside her precalculus classroom. Ella has been working at a strip bar while trying to finish high school, that is until Calum Royal walks into her life. He's the long time friend of the father she never knew and now that both her parents are dead he's her legal guardian. Ella being the feisty heroine that she is fights him tooth and nail but she is a minor so she grudgingly moves in with him and his five sons. All of the Royal boys have me intrigued, I really hope that some get their own book (like Easton and the twins). There’s so much going on and I would have loved the perspective of some of them while reading. Now Ella and Reed: my goodness someone get me a fan because their chemistry was off the charts!!!!

This book completely stressed me out. There were twists, turns, angst, drama, revenge, betrayal, love, friendship and more than one jaw dropping moment. That ending. I can’t even with that. WHAT WAS THAT??? I was dying. Let me tell you now, when the second book releases in a few short months, I will have no problem recalling what happened at the end. My jaw is still on the floor and my heart still hurts from reading that last chapter! Set in a very privilege world of the rich and the insanely rich, Paper Princess follows a story of a young high school girl named Ella who, at the start of the book was struggling to get through her life. She just lost her mother and she's been on her own trying to finish high school. Fate intervened in the form of Callum Royal. A man claiming to be Ella's biological dad's best friend and Ella guardian. Suddenly, Ella finds herself in the middle of the Royal world, which includes Callum's five young sons, one of whom caught Ella's attention immediately. A romantic rags-to-riches saga. From life as an underage cam girl in Fresno to mansions and prep schools in Malibu, one girl tries to stay true to herself. I said that they failed because the book is 100% New adult and for me, it wasn't romantic. At times it even touches taboo territory, more specifically rape, pedophilia and dubious consent, features that you would expect come from the erotica genre. I normally don't have problem with teens reading adult material. I started reading hentai in my fresh year of highschool and I know I wasn't the only one. But I read this book expecting a cute, young adult romance featuring a badass heroine. Instead I found a heroine that goes from really strong to meek, weak and TSTL (too stupid to live) who doesn't speak her mind against rape as long as it is not against her. She even apologizes to that Savannah girl after she practically threw her to the lions. The apple is dangling in front of me, juicy red and delicious, but, like the fairy tale, Reed Royal is the villain disguised as a pretty prince. Taking a bit out of him would be a huge mistake." ....]

Not to be slut shaming but DAMN this boy gets around. Bit of a sexist pig, but he's still my uncontested favorite Royal! Easton has a sweet side to him. No, it's not about tardiness . . . this time." Her normally flinty gaze is soft around the edges, and my gut relays a warning to my sluggish morning brain. Ms. Weir is a hard-ass, which is why I like her. She treats her students like we're here to learn actual math instead of some life lesson on loving your neighbor and crap like that. So for her to be giving me sympathetic looks means something bad is cooking down at the principal's office. I sit on the side of the bed and try not to cry out of frustration and anger and, okay, yes, even fear. I allow myself five minutes of self-pity and then get on the phone. Screw the universe. To Mr. Thompson's credit, he doesn't chastise me for the profanity. "The paperwork indicates that Mr. Royal's claim is legitimate." He rattles the papers in his hands.

Retailers:

Ella is living on her own after her mother passing away and never having known her father. To support herself along with saving up for college, she is forced to resort to stripping and dancing for money. Did I mention Ella is 17? Yep. A TEENAGER taking care of herself and doing whatever she can to survive.
