It has given me a new addiction! I am hooked on every little detail and just can’t get enough! Yes, you might have guessed by now- that I absolutely love this series!!! It’s a gripping series, so I couldn’t wait to read the next book when it came out! The series focuses on the Italian Mafia in Chicago, with each book centring on different members of the families. Some have been brought up in this life, whilst others are new to it and drawn in either by family connection or romantic relationships. Does the inner voice of anyone outside Love Island contestants seriously sound like that? Please let me know, I'm genuinely curious.This book has many of my favourite tropes which made the read enjoyable and having my favourite characters from the previous books was a cherry on top. Luc & Summer…<3 A slow burn heated couple! Once they got over and forgave each other, these two actually had a very sweet relationship. It was different and they were thrown together through circumstances but this worked really well for them both. Trust was a work in process, with the mistrust at the start and then Summer holding her secrets close to her chest. I loved when everything came out in the open, it was a slow burn even with the night they shared but now they are building a relationship together. It’s sweet and adds in the family antics helping to push these two together too! However, before we can think of the ending, Devani is committed to bringing down 10 of the most powerful and dangerous men in the world and it doesn’t matter to her that there are men from her own family involved. For the pain and suffering they e cost her family and friends, she has prepared for years how to bring them down and nothing will stop her, not even Sam. Noah and Emily's relationship is a slow-burn smoldering attraction that turns red hot, but is manipulated by the lies and deceit of others that results in the beginning prologue of this book. The beginning of the book was "a gotcha" for me only to play out much later in the book with a hair raising ending. I loved that Emily's character was strong, but had it's baggage as did Noah's character. Both characters were done very well and the storyline was unique with it's twists and turns and revelations that were revealed by books end. Book 2 of this series was just as good as book one. Can I just say OMG, I knew Luc’s story would be explosive but oh me was it that and more? I love this series and although they are totally dangerous and have their own set of morals the Five Families welcomed both with open arms and drew them into the family fold with easy.

As well as the romance story, the author sure knows how to write a fantastic accompanying suspenseful storyline which keeps you gripped and not wanting to put this book down.Bianca's character was embarrassingly dumbed down to the point of really...is she just that stupid? She was easily manipulated by a man (Gabriel) who wanted to make her his sex slave because her father supposedly killed his mother. His plan was to marry her and destroy her because of what her father did to his mother. Gabriel's character was just a sadistic p.......k who got off from inflicting pain and had the personality of snake. He was a sexual pervert and she was a spineless female MC. I am still very will to read any other books Ms. Snow writes in this universe. She lays the ground worl for another and I can't wait. I loved Luc and Summer’s story. Both are fantastic characters that I immediately connected with and enjoyed reading about. This book is quite angsty, which I love, as they try to fight the attraction they obviously have for one another. With steam between the sheets,and on the couch,in the car,on the kitchen counter,in the ladies room…..you get the idea,right? Even for a man as cruel and calculating as Egor Baranov, handing your daughter over to a hardened criminal to suit your own business needs is low. But that's exactly what he did.

As each event happens it becomes clear that Summer might be in danger…but who from and will his new family support them in this fight?
