About this deal

The rich’s leisure time was paid for well in advance when they worked hard in the beginning. It’s not that they don’t work hard. It’s because they did. Gamechanger. Boom. Mental explosion. sheadquarters / Pixabay Rule 58 – By all means, use the investment professionals (but don’t be used by them) FundSupermart (I have a Private Retirement Scheme fund there) – 1-2% management fee + 1.75% sales charge (+ extra fees for specific funds) Templar has spent a lifetime watching, learning and distilling the rules of how happy and successful people behave. Whether it’s at work or in their relationships, as parents or managing their money, the Rules have described how happy and successful people behave for over 25 years.

With an eye catching cover and lots of well organised, concise chapters; Work, Management, Life, Wealth, Parenting, Love, Rules to Break, People, Thinking, Living Well there is plenty to go at. I also struggle with having money and remaining ‘spiritually pure’ (his words, not mine). There’s an unspoken understanding among the human rights circle (where I used to belong) and society in general that to be wealthy, one must be evil. The wealthy got wealthy by profiting off many people and not giving a shit about them, full stop. Therefore, by wanting to be wealthy, I am evil by extension too.

An interesting read, this is basically a book of top tips for navigating life. A compedium of fan favourites from Richard Templar's earlier 'rule' books. The sections in this book are - The Rules of- Work, Management, Life, Wealth, Parenting, Love, to Break, of People, Thinking, Living Well and a shorter one on Knowing When to Break the Rules. You know when you call a big company — the bank, an airline, your health insurance provider — and after suffering through seventeen minutes of flute-heavy hold music, somebody finally answers, only to hang up on you? Apparently, that feeling drives men wild.

P/s – obviously don’t let people take advantage of your generosity either. tazzanderson / Pixabay Rule 99 – You really, really can’t take it with youBecause people LOVE being ignored. It makes them feel good and sets you up for a lifetime of open and honest communication. QAS you can see this list of topics does cover a vast array of items that are intrinsic to the way a person lives. The author gives tips, advice, scenarios and ways of being better, more successful, richer, happier and so on. Hark! A red flag. “Some therapists will think that The Rules are dishonest and manipulative,” the book warns. “They will encourage you to be open and vulnerable in your relationships, to talk things out, not to keep your feelings of love or hurt inside.” I mean, yeah. Your therapist would encourage such things because THAT IS CALLED BEING A HEALTHY PERSON. And for what it’s worth, so would I. By setting money to work, it will keep growing instead of losing value via inflation. This rule made me happy – most of my money is generating more money as we speak, I have very little in my bank account. I talked about this in my passive income guide. Rule 90 – Put something aside for your old age – no, more than that! Whether it’s at work or in their relationships, as parents or managing their money, the Rules have described how happy and successful people behave for over 25 years. The Rules of Everything contains the top 100 rules from the bestselling Rules books, as voted for by readers, so you can follow the common-sense advice on how to be happier and more successful.
