Product Information

The term “Third Products” in these Terms refer to a product or services provisioned by a third party that can be connected and operated together with the EasyControl. Third Products are not provisioned by Bosch. The EasyControl is a multizone internet-connected programmable smart thermostat for heating and hot water system control, which can be operated using this app. If you don’t have an on/off appliance and it takes a minute before the adapter lights up green, the Bosch EasyControl Adapter has automated opted for on/off signal although it is not right. Bosch only stores the personal information needed to register your product for warranty, warranty and maintenance work, and servicing purposes.

The data collected by the EasyControl and the EasyControl App on fuel (gas, oil …) and/or electricity consumptions of the appliance is for indication purposes only and is not guaranteed by Bosch in any way. The actual gas and electricity consumptions may vary depending on the Customer and the environment. From possible deviations (both above and below) no rights can be derived. Once installing this app, there is the option to run the app in demo mode, without access to the internet, an EasyControl or a compatible heating appliance to showcase the extensive features and simplicity of use. The EasyControl is compatible with multiple brands of appliances, e.g., Bosch, Nefit, Worcester, Junkers, elm Leblanc among others.

Do it the Easy Way

Bosch can see if your product is online but cannot gain access to your information. If necessary, you can authorise Bosch to gain temporary access to your product. The temporary access can be revoked at any time by turning it off in the app.

The Customer may decide to connect the EasyControl to one or more Third Products and may revoke at any time such connection. By revoking the access it will not be possible to use the Third Product together with the EasyControl, EasyControl App and EasyControl Services.

Individual Room Control

lt;p>The smart thermostat will start to learn and adapt to your behaviour. It will learn when you wake up in the morning and turn the heating on ready for when you get up or when you leave the house it will turn itself down, helping to save money on your bills.</p> The Customer causing damages in connection with loss, mutilation or unusability of data stored digitally or electromagnetically or transmitted; The EasyControl Adapter converts automatically communication signals, e.g. from iRT/OpenTherm/on-off to EMS protocol. Important for the commissioning of the Bosch EasyControl Adapter is the sequence switching on the devices. Always follow the following sequence: If the EasyControl does not detect the iRT/OpenTherm signal within one minute, it switches towards on/off protocol. By disconnecting the EasyControl Adapter for 25 seconds and then reconnecting it, the adapter will start searching again. The colors red and blue will pass. After approximately 25 seconds, the adapter will light up green. Then it will have found the iRT/OpenTherm connection and the EasyControl will start working with the right communication.
