About this deal

The Pistols themselves played at the Circus twice in December 1976,on the 9th and 19th,as part of the disrupted and shambolic Anarchy tour,(the 19th was a hastily rearranged gig after the original venue in Guildford banned them),cementing the close relationship between Manchester bands and their London brothers. Instead, he was eager to replace it with another broad music narrowcast, a live dance show that would highlight the new space at 299 Queen Street West, in what he termed "the living movie". They will be opening its doors Saturday November 18th at 11am at 203 Deptford High Street SE8 3NT and be open every day until December 24th included.

In fact, Maestro's experience on the show was career defining - after being asked to appear on the merit of some tapes he had sent in, Wes was baffled by the attire of some EC dancers ("Soul Train meets Dukes of Hazard" is how he described it recently), and wasn't sold on a second appearance. After throwing around a bunch of ideas for the show (including possibly shooting it in an already established Toronto night club), they settled on rooting it firmly at 299 Queen Street West, where people on the street could watch. We are proud to present to you a special episode of our podcast reacting to the brand new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part One trailer. In the spirit of the movie we’ve also reached across the Pod-verse and are joined by a special guest, Ethan, host of the Nerd Institute Podcast, so let’s get nerdy!

We are proud to present to you our spoiler-filled review of Spider-Man: Now way Home. Join us for the discussion and comment on what you thought about the movie too.

The venue was originally the Palace Cinema, then the Top Hat Club run by Bernard Manning and then a bingo hall. It became a heavy metal club in the 1970s until punk arrived there in 1976, [1] and Richard Boon [2] and Alan Robinson [3] started promoting nights there. However the building was in a poor state of repair and was closed in late 1977 due to objections from the fire service and Manchester City Council. [4] It re-opened briefly again in 1978 [5] as the New Electric Circus but by 1980 the building was demolished and replaced by housing. [6] Design work has been relentless since September (I’m not complaining) with multiple zoetropes in the works, an album for The Real Tuesday Weld under a new alias, work for De:tuned that should be announced in December and work for Castles In Space. This is alongside writing assignments for the second Dust & Grooves book, my weekly Mixcloud Select uploads and research for another book. As the series started to blow up, so did the calibre of guests, and the volume of curious onlookers outside the windows of 299 Queen. Electric Circus are a dynamic five piece band providing top quality entertainment for your special occasion. A fully live band with optional brass section - we have your entertainment needs covered. Electric Circus can also provide the music for your wedding ceremony, drinks reception, classical piano during your meal and a professional DJ service. As nothing came of Frankie mk1 I’d hazard a guess that Ambrose sent the recordings (or some of his own maybe?) to John and used the name? Holly released at least one solo single between Frankie mk1 and 2 so there was a gap, it’s a pity I didn’t see if there was a date on the letter. Looking up Reynolds on Wikipedia shows that he was pretty active on the music scene around Liverpool, later teaming up with ex-Big In Japan vocalist Jayne Casey to form Pink Industry and starting Zulu Records together, but one paragraph stood out: Moses wanted it to run for 90 minutes on Saturday afternoon, live-to-air. He brought onboard Monika Deol, a spirited young entertainment reporter at Citytv who happened to also be a DJ and club kid who really understood the culture. Listen on Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-electric-circus-the-arcade-archives/id974661283 proved to be a banner year, as the series as it moved from Citytv to MuchMusic, and more importantly from its early afternoon slot on Saturday to later at 7:00pm. Kavanaugh had convinced Znaimer that club kids needed a place to warm-up before heading out to the real clubs around 11:00 p.m., and EC was the perfect spot.
