About this deal

PacePro is a training tool that combines several features within the watch to act as a sort of coach when you’re out running. We've run with the 6 Pro Solar and the 7X, and we found less GPS wandering when using the multi-band GNSS in built-up areas, which is a benefit everyone can enjoy. Garmin also offers full connection to Bluetooth headphones, such as the Jaybird Vista, with the Fenix 6X Pro – ideal if you’re heading out for a short run. Garmin Connect The full set up and personalization of the dial took slightly longer for the sole reason that there are so many customization options. The amount of customization has to be one of my favourite features of this device. Everything from the layout of the dial to the colour of the second’s hand can be tailored to your preference. The 6X comes with several pre-set dials from which you can choose or you can create one to show exactly the information you need. There is a wide range of options and you can select to have anything from the weather to the altitude and your blood oxygen levels. An interesting option is that once customized the dial can be saved. You can tailor a dial to show specific information for an activity, for example climbing. This means you can easily switch out the information from what you need on a daily basis to what you need during climbing in less than a minute and saves you the hassle of having to set up the dial over and over again each time you do a climb. Watches in the Garmin Fenix 6 range have received hefty price cuts in recent months (Image credit: Garmin) Design, display and battery life Design

The screens on the watches in the Garmin Fenix 6 collection are always on. They are optimized for outdoor use, so that you can easily read them under all lighting conditions. This is one place where the added touchscreen feels beneficial to have. It makes it easy to scroll through notifications and screens in general on the Fenix 7 compared to using the buttons on the Fenix 6.However, it though will significantly impact battery life compared to standard GPS (although still above 20 hours). The Garmin Fenix 6 lineup faces stiff competition from other brands as well as from Garmin’s own lineup. Here are a few of our recommended Garmin Fenix 6 alternatives: You should get 14 days' use out of the standard Garmin Fenix 6 in smartwatch mode before it needs recharging, but using the watch's GPS will drain the battery faster (Image credit: TechRadar) Here, you can read everything worth knowing about the new Fenix 6 top models by Garmin. Read about the changes from the Garmin Fenix 5 Plus, for example, and get to know all the differences!

Sapphire – The Sapphire model has all the same functions as the Pro model. But the Sapphire model is instead equipped with scratch-free sapphire glass. Garmin Fenix 6 is equipped with the newest wrist-based heart rate monitor. The monitor can register your heart rate during activities and everything else, 24/7. Garmin Fenix 6 and Garmin Fenix 6X also have a better screen resolution – 260x260 px and 280x280 px, respectively. If you're going for the Fenix 6 Pro model, then you can add in up to 10 hours with GPS and Music features in use. Charging is relatively fast, too, taking less than three hours to fill the battery from completely flat.As was the case with the Garmin Fenix 5 and Garmin Fenix 5 Plus, the Garmin Fenix 6 is really a whole collection of watches. The watches in the Garmin Fenix 6 collection have different physical sizes, and there are small differences that we shall take a look at in a moment.
