My hopes were dashed, but I wasn’t mad about it. Unlike some of Fulfil’s later bars, the coconut chocolate flavour is simply a nougat-like centre coated in milk chocolate – no fancy crispies or caramel layer. I was actually really disappointed by the flavour and texture of this bar – it’s not good – and I haven’t had it again since. The macros are good, the vitamins are a nice addition, but you’re still better off popping a multi-vitamin and going elsewhere for your protein fix. Dark Chocolate & Mint I made these to take to a New Year’s party the other evening and they turned out great so I thought I would pop up a recipe for them! They are my standard choux recipe, but I added some cocoa to the craquelin mixture for a chocolate vibe, and then filled them with a chocolate hazelnut whipped cream, which is as simple as folding chocolate hazelnut spread into whipped cream. Having had my moan, I will say that the chocolate coating is nice. The flavour is dark and rich, but still not enough to mark the other, more unpleasant, aspects of the bar. Easy 5-minute recipe. This Nutella whipped cream recipe seriously takes 5 minutes max to make! Simply add the ingredients to a bowl and whip … boom. Done. Be sure to whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form — not soft peaks. You want the cream to be well whipped so it holds up better when combined with the Nutella.

The bar looks pleasant enough. Dark chocolate coating, gentle scent of cocoa, obvious cookie-like texture. On the inside the ‘cream’ aspect is obvious, sandwiched between two crunchy layers. Whipped Milk (three ways) is easy to make and fun to drink! Whip up (literally!) your favorite flavors like hazelnut, mint chocolate, or strawberry and serve atop iced milk for a decadent treat kids and adults alike will love. Overall I’d describe this as ‘not bad’– perhaps not the best of compliments but certainly not the worst. It’s essentially average, and average isn’t always a bad thing. Peanut & Caramel
