The She Reads Truth Bible also features 66 designs by top calligraphy and hand-lettering artists to aid in memorization and understanding of Scripture. No interlinear notes — Unlike some other study Bibles this one doesn’t have the amount of cross references or study notes as many do. If you’re looking for more in depth explanation of passages in a verse by verse passage–this probably isn’t going to be the study Bible for you. Or it may be one of a couple that you use! (Like I do!) This is great if you’re a visual learner, but the aesthetics will make most women get excited to be in her Bible.David divides the psalm into 22 sections, one for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and we will read just a few sections each day. Our prayer is that, like David, we will allow our love for God’s Word to be the invisible thread that runs not only through this study but through our very lives. Designed with this community in mind, the She Reads Truth Bible + Devotional app is a beautiful, functional, and accessible Bible-reading tool created to help women from around the world to connect with God's Word and each other, anytime and anywhere. Whether your Truth time comes in the early morning before the world wakes, during a lunch break at your desk, or in the middle of the night with a baby in your arms—the She Reads Truth app brings your quiet (or not so quiet) time to you, right where you are. The colors are carefully selected for each book to help teach us about the genre we are reading — green is history and pink is poetry. That is pretty nifty! It is color with purpose! And this is across the board, maps, dividers – you name it they have paid attention to making the interaction visually stimulating. She Reads Truth is concerned for women to be prepared to read their Bibles Room for writing. This Bible gives you plenty of margin space on both sides for writing. The extra white space is nice visually or you can choose to fill it up with notes, questions, and verses. Maybe you’re happy with what you’ve got or just got your new She Reads Truth Bible, but you need some tips on how to study the Bible itself. Join me as we take just 31 Days for Better Bible Study. This update does not seem to the case of change for functionality. Instead, it seemed to have tried to make it look prettier and more streamlined without making it any easier to use. If anything, it’s more complicated. I can’t seem to find anything or change my information. I keep hearing rumblings of a part of the app that plays music but I can’t find it (it was mentioned in the Hymn devos a few times). If that part of the app is no longer available, that’s fine but why keep it in the devos? Nothing seems to work properly and I kind of stopped using the app because of it. Which is honestly a shame.

I love SRT. There was a time when I would use it daily. But sadly, that just isn’t the case anymore. First: let me say that I completely understand the need for changes and updates to an app. That’s totally fine. I think it is perfectly okay to change the look and feel of an app if it works better for functionality or for the ease of the user. Sure, it takes a bit to get used to a new layout, but that’s kosher. Each day’s reading will include a portion of Psalm 119, along with additional scriptures relevant to the day’s topic. Psalm 119 is a remarkable (and remarkably long!) psalm of David in which he exclaims his love for God and His Word over and over. And over.
Book introductions are pretty typical in a study Bible and the She Reads Truth team keeps them simple and to the point. You don’t get as much information, but just the essentials which can be a pro! Bible reading plans for individual books and for the whole Bible help readers dive into the text with an easy to follow guided reading plan. Inspired by the She Reads Truth mission of "Women in the Word of God every day,” the She Reads Truth Bible is thoughtfully and artfully designed to highlight the beauty, goodness, and truth of Scripture. Timelines throughout the reading are really helpful in following along with the big story of the Bible chronologically and how different books fit together.
