About this deal

The fact that this Bewilderbeast doesn't hypnotize and forcibly control smaller dragons to obey him, despite being able to do so, may indicate this individual has a high level of morality, gaining the loyalty and obedience of his subjects not through fear or force, but instead through benevolent, well-earned respect. He also rules others very impartially and warmly. Saving other dragons from Drago and Eret's forces may have also contributed to gain further respect and love from other dragons. He is generous enough to catch fish for all of his subjects, providing them with plentiful food. In addition to its icy breath and alpha's ability to bend other dragons to its will, the Bewilderbeast is also a formidable force underwater. As a Class 10 Leviathan (the aquatic equivalent of a Titan Wing), a full-grown Bewilderbeast swims at incredible speeds and bursts to the surface to surprising, and devastating, effect.

Sharp Tusks: Like his kind, Drago's Bewilderbeast is equipped with two large tusks that can be used as formidable weapons, capable of using them to impale the underside of Valka's Bewilderbeast at the end of their battle.

But if they will do it I dunno.. They could just make the berk people charge on foot, who knows. With all the people in the battle scene, it is likely the Berk tribe is somewhere in the mix with Hiccup leading the way into the chaos. Crimson Goregutter: Bulwark • Grainfield Goregutter • Gruff Goregutter • Magnanimous Martyrium • Wapititan It is unknown if Hamilton was referencing the Berserker Bewilderbeast's egg or another specimen, as “ King of Dragons, Part 2” never showed Drago capture a Bewilderbeast. This snowy-white Bewilderbeast seems calm and very gentle, enough to let baby Scuttleclaws play around his face when relaxing. Also, he seems to not hold any ill emotions towards human beings and will be helpful to friendly humans and other dragons of the nest. Also, this Bewilderbeast is rather playful (best seen when he uses a tiny portion of his ice breath to blow a cloud of frost at Hiccup upon first meeting him) and may have a sense of duty to aid any allies in danger. Fireworm: Brightburn • Defender Fireworm • Enhanced Fireworm Queen • Ghostglow • Glowmer • Fearsome Flamellion • Flashfright • Homunculosa • Plain Fireworm Queen • Royal Fireworm • Snotlout's Fireworm Queen • Solar Flare • Verdigriff

This Bewilderbeast shares some similarities with Shruikan, a male dragon character from Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle fantasy novels. Both are dark-colored, gargantuan-sized dragons who have been enslaved and tortured against their will by a malevolent human (the Bewilderbeast by Drago, Shruikan by Galbatorix) to become remorseless, vicious, and powerful war machines who aid them in their plans for conquest. Enhanced Endurance: Drago's Bewilderbeast's stamina is extremely unlimited, able to travel long distances by pulling his master's ships and was even able to swim all the way to Berk, showing no exhaustion. Tide Glider: Defender Tide Glider • Exotic Tide Glider • Grim Slipsmolder • Lake Skater • Mistmenace • Shoalrake

Given their unique abilities of manipulation of dragon minds if needed, and the capacity to be a provider and protector for smaller dragons, Bewilderbeasts are naturally inclined to become the alpha in a dominance hierarchy amongst all dragon kind. They are capable of providing food, protection, and shelter for others and, if needed, can use mind manipulation. Wild or naturally raised Bewilderbeasts appear to have an authoritative yet reclusive and non-aggressive demeanor. This leads the Bewilderbeast species to be referred to the "King of all Dragons". Dragons under their care may be referred to as "Primals", according to Rise of Berk. It only makes sense that they would come with the help of their village (who can now most likely all ride dragons) It is confirmed that the ice caves and glaciers/icebergs functioning as camouflages and strongholds to protect the dragons' sanctuary were created with the help of this Bewilderbeast (or simply by himself). The king wisely chose a spot and utilized his knowledge and capabilities through careful considerations to create an ideal oasis for giant reptiles. According to Pierre-Oliver Vincent, this Bewilderbeast is "pure and beautiful, like a polar bear" contrasting to the dark Bewilderbeast's misfortune under Drago's control, depicted as a neurotic, abused, and corrupted creature.

It is unknown how this Bewilderbeast feels about other members of his kind who can acquire and enjoy peaceful monarchies (at least better than he is able), such as to Valka's Bewilderbeast. I'll give a shot at answering this one.. These are not red deaths, but instead bewilderbeasts.. We can assume the red death was like a queen, these are kings. Possibly bigger, stronger, and more evil. However, Toothless' Alpha mode activates shortly after and breaks from the ice. He challenges the Alpha (to protect Hiccup) by blasting him repeatedly and throwing him off guard. The other dragons recover from their hypnosis and side against the Bewilderbeast, bombarding him with blows. The Bewilderbeast takes a deep breath and prepares to fire, but amidst the smoke, Toothless unleashes a mighty blast that breaks off a horn. Shaken and thrown off his Alpha status, the Bewilderbeast admits defeat and swims away. Despite being enslaved against his will, the Bewilderbeast seems to seek Drago's approval. Before leaving for Berk, the Bewilderbeast calls all dragons to him and once the dragons gather above him, he looks at Drago. Another instance is when the Bewilderbeast encased Hiccup and Toothless in ice, he again looks to his master, Drago. This could be due to the imprinted fear and traumatic memories bound to him his whole life.Bewilder beasts are one of the many dragons featured in this mod, and the largest this mod has to offer. [ ] In July 2021, Valka's Sanctuary was introduced in the game, with a giant Bewilderbeast residing inside. The dragon helps Dart, Pouncer, and Ruffrunner reach their adult stage. It is unclear whether or not the Bewilderbeast is intended to be Valka's Bewilderbeast, as the events of the game take place after How to Train Your Dragon 2, yet Valka has a strong connection with it. So to answer your question of why isn't that bewilderbeast in charge? Because he lost his alpha status to Toothless. Night Terror: Brood-blossom • Darkvarg • Dusk Mite • Hallucinerator • Hotshot • Nightwatch • Peggy • Sacred Terror • Seedling Night Terror • Smidvarg

When Drago's Bewilderbeast pulls out its horns from Valka's Bewilderbeast, there is no blood on them to prevent depiction of violence. Despite being killed, Valka's Bewilderbeast's body wasn't seen in sequences after the battle. Sword Stealer: Broken Blade • Chillblade • Defender Sword Stealer • Exotic Sword Stealer • Forgefeist • Gleamer • Scimiterror • Verdigard When the dragons respond next to the Light Furies, we see a Bewilderbeast that looks EXACTLY like Drago’s Bewilderbeast from HTTYD 2. True they resemble some but Dreamworks gives them a life of their own, thus defying what makes a dragon a dragon. Just because common culture doesn't have giant dragons with tusks doesn't mean its not a dragon. In my mind, the more inventive they get with these beasts the better! That way people don't always look at dragons the same way any more, as just creatures with two legs or four legs with a set of wings. Or even no wings and just a long body. This way people get to use their imagination, and for kids this will be an epic thing to imagine. Just like labs are loyal and easy to train, and german shepards take authority and are more protective. Kind of like real life animals, each species they have shown proves to have their own traits that shape their personalities. Also, riders influence their dragons personalities and who they get along with.

Drago's Bewilderbeast appears in this game as an angered Alpha Dragon the player must fight. He appears in Valka's Sanctuary in the Coldwind Wastes, as well as a game clan 'World' Alpha opponent. He sports his characteristic broken horn and an old manacle on the other horn. When Toothless becomes the Alpha of the Hidden World, Drago's Bewilderbeast is among the countless dragons who cheer for him, showing that he has accepted Toothless as the one true Alpha Dragon. The team also spent a lot of time on the Bewilderbeasts' horns. Various concept arts explore different dimensions of the Bewilderbeasts' jaws, frills, and horns. Flightmare: Defender Flightmare • Exotic Flightmare • Flaredawn • Hofferson's Bane • Skystreaker • Trancemare • Viggo's Flightmare
