Vango’s Aether Air 450XL & 600XL has a brilliant level of specification while being great value for money, not to mention that it also does it’s bit to help the environment. Vango’s Earth Collection has been designed to be environmentally friendly and durable, the entire range is made from single use plastics and every tent has an equivalent plastic bottle total to help show what Vango can create from just a small amount of waste. The Eco fabric has a waterproof rating of 3,000mm HH and UV protection factor of UPF30+, if this wasn’t enough the fabric also has ColourLok which aids colour retention from UV light. Villa Construction – Upright side walls increase the height within the tent allowing you to fully maximise the internal space This is mainly due to the Sentinel Eco Fabric – which is made from recycled single-use plastic bottles. It has a 3000mm hydrostatic head rating meaning water will not get in. The factory taped seams means the flysheet has an additional watertight seal at every joint. Then peg out the high visibility guylines – there was less tripping over them in poor light, but they don’t glow in the dark – as I found out in the middle of the night!

One note, if you fully deflate with the pump I found it difficult to then close the valves, I assume due to negative pressure. Once you reinflate it a little it is easy to close the valve.
