Glenfiddich is a single malt whisky, whilst Chivas is a blend. Chivas Regal tends to have a more complex range of flavours and aromas, thanks to its combination of malt and grain whiskies. Glenfiddich offers a sweeter taste profile but Chivas brings herbal sweetness as well as smoky notes. Ultimately, the choice between these two comes down to personal preference. Although we liked how lightweight and cushioned Skechers’ Women’s On-The-Go 600 Brilliancy Sport Sandal are, we noticed that they don’t have enough arch support. Instead, we recommend the brand’s Go Walk Arch Fit Affinity Sandal or Go Walk Massage Fit Incite Sandal. The slight sweetness from Chivas Regal’s aromas and flavours brings out the natural sweetness in any seafood dish – creating a delicious combination. Chivas Regal is also light enough to enhance delicate dishes without overpowering them, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a whisky that will pair perfectly with their meal without being too heavy or robust.

On the palate, I can taste smooth creamy toffee with notes of sweet fruit and spices. Later, I also get a warming hint of cinnamon and a touch of peppercorn which dances on the tongue. WANT: A real Cordell/Geri romance

Both these brands are top players in the blended Scotch category. Whilst Chivas aren’t quite as mainstream, their Speyside orientated blends were a delight to sample. For everyday wear, these Teva Original sandals caught our stride in just the right way—for almost a third of the cost of other pairs on our list. Meanwhile, when it comes to two specific characters, we’re hoping for a lot less drama next season.

The distinct and rich aromas of vanilla custard, aniseed, lemon curd and butter toffee make Chivas Regal 12 year old a highly desirable whisky. These notes are paired with light undertones of wood shavings and dried banana chips, giving Chivas Regal a unique depth and complexity that sets it apart from other whiskies. On my first sip, the whisky has a rich woody flavour reminiscent of an empty cigar box. It’s a charming balance with distinct notes of oak and cedar, creating an intense yet enjoyably rich taste. Further in to the glass, there’s more of that earthy taste which comes from the peaty Islay malts. This gives a lovely smoky flavour that isn’t too overpowering. They’re also fully adjustable, like many other sandals we tested, providing a close fit that didn’t irritate or chafe our feet.
