Description

The B25K60 has a 6mm diameter shaft that is about 13mm in length (~19mm total including threads). Shaft has a ground flat portion, these type of shaft are called D shafts or flat shaft. Shaft length is not that crucial, a shorter will work as well. Most 6mm diameter shaft will have the same mounting nut (10mm). Then there is the connection, through pins or solder lugs will work. Also I don't like words being put in my mouth I never said this game was about being fast, my critique was sololy about the gearbox mechanic not whether the point of the game was being fast or not. One of the most common questions we get is – do Fanatec pedals work with Thrustmaster wheel? This is due to Fanatec producing some of the best sim racing pedal peripherals on the market. The Fanatec CSL Elite LC pedals are one of the best entry level pedals available, the LC standing for load cell. If you have previously used the standard two pedal kit that comes with Thrustmaster wheels, these will feel familiar. The brake and throttle pedals both feel almost identical to the two pedal kit. Both pedal sets allow you to adjust the spacing between pedals. And they do this by allowing you to remove the pedal pad and mount it in three different positions. This is nice, although we would rather have been able to move each whole pedal individually like the Fanatec CSL Elite pedals.

With the conical mod installed, the brake pedal almost becomes like a true progressive brake. It feels similar to a loadcell brake, although it’s not quite there in terms of braking quality. It sits just under a loadcell brake, such as that in the Fanatec CSL Elite LC pedals. Includes 3-pedal T3PA GT II pedal set; compatible with Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals pedal set (sold separately) We would highly recommend paying the extra cost to add these T3PA pedals to your Thrustmaster racing wheel bundle. We’ve spent a lot of time testing the T3PA pedals to be able to bring you our in depth review, and show you why you should upgrade to this pedal set. And that is not good for us at all. This is one of those other taper, and no, I do not know the name of it. Sourcing it could be hard, and even if you find one that fits physical dimensions and has a similar taper, if the taper is off by even a little bit you could end up with noticeable dead-zones in pedals. This rubber mod fits directly behind the brake pedal to offer a much more realistic, progressive resistance. This come in to play the harder you push the pedal, giving you more resistance the closer you get to 100% pressure.

What are the Thrustmaster T3PA pedals?

This improves the ease of being able to use the heel and toe technique to downshift. You can replicate a similar setup with these Thrustmaster pedals. If you have problems with FFB auto-centering heavily on Logitech wheels (e.g. G920), switching the TYPE from "Logitech Legacy" to "DirectInput" may help. The T3PA pedals by Thrustmaster are an add-on pedal set which is compatible with the T300 RS, T500 RS, and TX racing wheels. They include a third pedal to improve gameplay over their two pedal cousin.

My local online electronics shop had something similar for the taper (still not a guarantee will work) but delivery time was too long and the price was ~10€ for a single pot, and the shaft did not mach (need D shaft, had knurled shaft), and if I have to guess the TM paid 0.5 - 1.5 euros per pot, most likely well below 1€, and I do not think there is value in spending 10€ for single potentiometer, since pedals are terrible to begin with, and if you want to spend more, then do a hall-effect sensor conversion or a load-cell, or buy a better pedal set. Cheap fix for cheap pedals is the name of the game here. The great thing about the DriveHub is its huge compatibility with all sim racing products. It includes all main wheel bases, pedals, shifters and handbrakes from Fanatec, Thrustmaster and Logitech. This means you can create almost any combination of sim racing products, creating your ultimate sim rig for console. If you fancy increasing or adjusting the brake pedal resistance, the T3PA kit does come with an optional brake mod. This brake mod (the conical rubber brake mod) features an industrial-grade high-density rubber cylinder. Proprietary technologies: T-AEC-Q, T-DCC, T-RTF, T-LIN, T40-VE, T-DFB, T-F.O.C., T-M.C.E. and T-TURBO If you are really looking for a way of combining both Fanatec and Thrustmaster products together on a console, you will require some form of adaptor. As we mentioned above, both Xbox and PS5 only support 1 input device, meaning you can’t connect your peripherals seperately like you can on PC.There are of course the T3PA Pro pedals, if you fancy another step up. The Pro pedal variant allow for even more customization by allowing you to invert the pedals. This introduces progressive braking, and can be configured in a range of configurations to adjust the progression rate. The conical brake mod can add up to 70 pounds of extra resistance in to your brake pedal. Leather-wrapped wheel with 25 action buttons, 1 push-button and 4 rotary selectors natively recognized in GT Sport (differential braking, traction control, fuel mapping, torque management) The Best F1 23 Racing Wheels View the very best racing wheels for F1 23 on Xbox, PC & PS5. View the best wheels These pro pedals bring a lot to the table. They combine elements from other Thrustmaster pedals to create the best Thrustmaster pedal set to date. The option to choose between two sets of brake mod and the customization of the pedal layout make for one of the most versatile pedal sets on the market.

The T3PA Pro has a decidedly industrial design that is largely attributable to the fact that it is designed to be used in F1 or GT (inverted) positions – and us such must be somewhat more modular in aesthetic. Form is perhaps a secondary consideration with the pro model, and users will appreciate that no expense has been spared in pursuit of extreme functionality and versatility. As mentioned, the design is almost identical to the T500RS pedals. That isn’t a bad thing. Unlike some cheaper pedals, the T3PA-Pros feature a full metal construction. This really elevates the perceived quality of this pedal set. These pedals are fully compatible with all modern Thrustmaster wheel bases, and represent a considerable upgrade for all sets that don’t already come with the T3PA. Whereas the input mechanism of some other manufacturers’ pedals are onboard, Thrustmaster leaves the heavy lifting to the wheel base – so there’s no need to fret over input resolution here. Side-note, yes, all TM budget pedals are terrible, yes, there are better options, we all know this. But working terrible pedals are better then non-working ones (not by much though in case of TM).

Suggested Comparisons

Thrustmaster have been making the right steps towards the ultimate pedal set for a while. The base pedals you get with some Thrustmaster wheels come with only two pedals and are just not fit for sim racing.
