This is perfect for sewing elastic, as the zig-zag stitch will stretch with the elastic – meaning it won’t snap if you over-stretch it. Take your other fabric circle and the long rectangle of fabric you cut out earlier. Pin the long side of the rectangle to the curved edge of the circle.
