The coffee liqueur part in this drink mimics the iconic dark color of stout beer. In recent years, more and more coffee liqueurs have entered the market, and the sweetness and caffeine levels can vary widely. This was originally served as a drink for special occasions, but now it can be found in many bars and restaurants all over the world. Choose the Right Glassware: While the classic shot glasses work perfectly for these adorable treats, consider using small clear or transparent glasses to showcase the beautiful layered effect. They are an easy, fun, and unique way to celebrate. One shot to celebrate a special occasion or individual can be really fun and memorable.

Ingredients As you I can see, these shots aren’t just delicious; they also spark joy and curiosity. Your friends and family will be amazed at how closely they resemble the iconic Guinness beer, only tinier. You only need two ingredients to craft these baby Guinness shots. Here’s what you need, along with my recommendations. Making this recipe requires only two ingredients: Irish cream and Coffee liqueur such as Tia Maria or Kahlua. You can use either Kahlua or Tia Maria (or another coffee liqueur for your shot). Tia Maria has a slightly sweeter taste than Kahlua. Why Is it called A Baby Guinness Shot? This baby version is a shot recipe that doesn’t actually contain any Guinness at all! It gets its name because it looks exactly like a tiny glass of the famous Irish beer.

And with that, I think you’re ready to serve some of these baby Guinness shots. If you do, I’d love to hear all about them. Let me know what everyone thought!I hope you’ll try makes these baby Guinness shots. If you do, please leave a comment and a 5-star rating below.

When first looking at the Baby Guinness Shot, one could think it actually contains the classic dark stout from the world-renowned Irish brewery. The baby Guinness shot tastes very sweet, but if you’re expecting a beer taste then you will be disappointed. This shot is called a Baby Guinness simply because it looks like the miniaturized version of a glass of Guinness which is of course, a famous Irish stout. While it may look like it, this recipe actually contains no beer at all. Only coffee liqueur and Irish Cream liqueur are used to create this sweet treat instead. Once you have these two ingredients, all that’s left to do is add them to your shot glass and serve! What Is Tia Maria?Well, I believe they are called such because when poured, these shots look like a glass of Guinness. The coffee liqueur is the base of the shot that gives it the deep rich brown color of Guinness. A layer of Irish cream, which is a soft creamy tan color, floats on top creating the “foamy head” of the beer. It’s pretty clever and really tasty!
