The Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix2 easily attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points. Make sure you follow the steps in our user manual for it to be correctly installed into your car. At Maxi-Cosi, we always recommend traveling with your baby in a rearward-facing position. That’s something you should do until they’re at least 15 months old. Removing an ISOFIX base varies depending on which base you have, but it usually involves pressing a button and disconnecting the base from the ISOFIX anchorage points. The base's user manual will usually contain a section that guides you through the installation and removal process so you can ensure you complete these steps safely and correctly. Why choose an ISOFIX? You may notice that there are a few Maxi Cosi ISOFIX bases that we haven't mentioned here, such as the 3WayFix and the Babyfix. This is because these bases have been phased out by Maxi Cosi and replaced with newer models.The Maxi-Cosi Easy Base is ISOFIX however it also benefits from the addition of belted attachment, meaning that if you have one car with ISOFIX anchorage points, but another without, then the Easy Base gives you a versatile and secure way to fit your Maxi-Cosi car seat into both cars with ease. Does every Maxi-Cosi ISOFIX base fit all Maxi-Cosi car seats? Of course, time will fly and there will be the moment when your little one will outgrow their first car seat. Then, you can still continue using our FamilyFix2 as it also fits Pearl Smart i-Size i-Size and Pearl Pro2 i-Size toddler car seats, which can be used up to 4 years.
