Blood Fish & Bone Plant Fertiliser is a powder form fertiliser that is organically balanced and specially designed to encourage healthy foliage and strong growth. Thanks to the slow release of Blood Fish & Bone Plant Fertilisers phosphate content, the root growth of your plants will also be positively impacted. In addition, this fertiliser boasts added potash which makes flowers more colourful and ripens fruit & vegetables more effectively. This general purpose plant food not only promotes healthy plant growth, but also has both short and long term positive effects on your plants, with a single application lasting up to six weeks. Apply every 6-8 weeks during the growing season from March to the end of August, when plants are actively growing. Water in well. Store in the original container in a cool, dry, frost-free place away from children, pets and foodstuffs. When using before planting or sowing apply Blood Fish & Bone at 140g/m² and lightly fork or rake into the soil. When using this product as a top dressing apply at 70g/m² and lightly fork into the soil. Between 2.1kg and 75kg we can deliver to all of England, Scotland ( exluding Offshore & Scotish Isles) & Northern Ireland. Please note that deliveries to Scotland and Northern Ireland will take between 3 to 4 days and incur additional surcharges. These have been built into the delivery price.

Fish, Blood & Bone meal strengthens garden plants, lawns, fruits and vegetables. It also improves the soil, the life of the bacteria in the soil and beneficial fungi such as mycorrhiza and micro bacteria. Fish, Blood & Bone cannot be taken up by the plants unless transformed (mineralisation) by bacteria from its organic state into an inorganic one. Mineralisation happens only when the conditions in the soil are right. It depends very much on the temperature of the soil, the water content, the pH, the amount of organic material, the time of application and the carbon in the soil. MAKES ROOTS GROW STRONGER – Stronger and deeper root systems result in better plant growth, better crops and healthier and improved soils. Dogs may be attracted to the bonemeal in this product. Avoid use in areas where dogs have access or work the fertiliser into the soil after application and cover with a 5 cm (2”) layer of chipped bark, soil improver or similar material
