If anything, the strength of the screw can damage the shelf when there is significant weight on said shelf. Therefore, it is safer to have more standard steel screws instead of a few very strong ones. Use them in the hallway as a small relief for keys and mail. In the kitchen, for the knives and chopping boards you use daily. In the bedroom, as a neat bed stand instead of ungainly cabinets. In the living room for paintings and beautiful candle holders.
