I loved the fact that because the two vary in the way that certain plot points play out, and they change up who dies and when, it made the comics completely unpredictable. I had no idea what was going to happen and it was fantastic. Each story arc is re-released in hardcover books containing two, omnibus editions containing four, and compendiums containing eight story arcs. It's difficult to review these comics as they're so fast moving and so much happens!! That's one of the major positives of The Walking Dead - it doesn't really get stagnant. Even when the survivors settle down in one location for a while, there's always new dangers and new characters constantly being introduced.
