It was revealed that Resurrection was the latest dvd being worked on, and the number of people repeatedly demanding release dates, articles and official announcements led BBC DVD to ban the Restoration Team from saying anything at all about upcoming releases. BBC DVD as it was then even stopped telling the RT what the next release was and removed some decision making from them. So they were working on several upcoming titles with no idea what was out next, and couldn’t talk about anything unreleased – all due to certain “fans” not being able to behave despite repeated cautions. And that’s still the situation we have now, pretty much. It’s exactly the same model. I’ve said it here before, and I know it’s a bit controversial – re-release all of the out of print sets, as HMV is already repeatedly doing with Season 12; instead of “Limited”, just call the main product “The Collection”. Samuel if you have all the Limited Editions then why on Earth do you keep going on about wanting them to re-release all the Limited Editions? Makes no sense haha 🙂 Burk, Graeme; Smith, Robert (1 April 2012). Who Is the Doctor: The Unofficial Guide to Doctor Who: The New Series. ECW/ORIM. ISBN 978-1-77090-239-8 . Retrieved 30 June 2022.

Doctor Who A History of the TARDIS Police Box Prop and its Modifications" . Retrieved 17 February 2010.Due to the significance of Doctor Who in popular British culture, the shape of the police box is now more strongly associated with the TARDIS than its real-world inspiration. The name and design of the TARDIS is a registered trademark of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), although the design was originally created by the Metropolitan Police Service. [1] [2] Name [ edit ] Located in Llanarthney, Carmarthenshire, Wales, the world's largest single-span glasshouse featured as the inside of Bowie Base One (humanity's first Mars colony) in the season four special 'The Waters of Mars.' To promote the Barbie film that is to be released in July 2023, a pink TARDIS was unveiled next to Tower Bridge in London on July 11, as Ncuti Gatwa would appear in both Barbie as a Ken and in Doctor Who as the Fifteenth Doctor. [62] The other related incident was an agent learning from online blabbermouths that one of their client’s works was being readied for release before they’d been officially told. The result delayed the release of a 4th Doctor story and helped lead to the increased secrecy restrictions. The Team Behind The Lego Movie 2 Describes What Went Into Those Surprising Cameos". Located in Newport, South Wales, Tredegar House appears in 12 different Doctor Who episodes, making it the most-used Doctor Who filming location in the UK. Some highlights include season three episodes eight 'Human Nature' and nine 'The Family of Blood' where the house featured as the Farringham School for Boys. I made the point then as now that it makes sense for episodes to turn up with private collectors. It’s happened before and it will happen again. I don’t think you can find Limited Edition Season 12 on any shelves. I think that just shows up online for a while every now and again.A promotional DVD was released in DWM 544 to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the magazine. It featured shortened cuts of selected bonus material from previous boxsets, as well as an exclusive bonus feature, "Doctor Who: Messages From Space". However, neither of the boxes posed a threat at all, merely being empty objects with superficial buttons made to appear threatening through clever deception and misinformation. The Osgood Boxes were simply framing devices used by the Doctor to demonstrate a "scale model of war", as no matter what decision the parties made who used the boxes, they would never know for sure what the impact of their actions would be or who would potentially have their lives shattered. The Twelfth Doctor was able to use them to persuade Bonnie to stop a rebellion and stop Kate Stewart from taking drastic actions against the Zygons. Located between Newport and Cheltham, the Clearwell Caves has featured in five different Doctor Who episodes. From featuring as the Sycorax Spaceship in season two's Christmas special 'The Christmas Invasion', to tunnels under the Vesuvius volcano in season four episode two 'The Fires of Pompeii.'
