From running a professional movie set manufacturing company to dawing the apron, John has been cooking ever since he can imagine and launched Food at 52 Cookery School to pass down his knowledge of food and cuisine honed over years of cooking and tasting multiple cuisines. Half day Indian cooking class – is perfect for those who want to learn the basics of Indian cooking in just a few hours. Monisha has also created and taught her popular courses at the Ashburton Cookery School in Devon, The Bertinet Kitchen in Bath, Seasoned Cookery School, south Derbyshire and at Divertimenti in Knightsbridge.Our aim is simple – to share our passion for Indian cooking with you at our Indian cooking school, and to provide you with the confidence, knowledge and lifetime skills, that will inspire you to cook healthy authentic Indian food. The cooking classes in the UK are designed for everyone from aspiring chefs to culinary enthusiasts. The Indian Street Food Feast is more focues on culinary delights form the streets of Indian including delicacies such as chaats to accompaniments, dips, sauces and much more. You will also acquire an understanding at our Indian cooking school of how the spices and herbs blend together, find out how and from where the dishes you prepare were created, and the influences on those dishes by the Moguls in the north of India, tribal and Anglo-Indians in the east, Syrian Jews and French traders in the south, and the Portuguese and the Persians (Parsis) in the west. You will undoubtedly be well equipped to impress your family members, friends, and work colleagues, with your new found knowledge of the roots of Indian food.

The UK provides a wide range of courses to budding chefs that want to concoct authentic Indian food. She was awarded ‘Cookery Writer of the Year’ in 2003 by the Guild of Food Writers and her many books have been shortlisted for and won several prestigious international awards. Born in east India but growing up in the north of the country, Atul came to appreciate food from a young age thanks to his grandfather – a baker – and his father, who owned a catering business. ‘I learnt a lot of things form a young age,’ he says. ‘Going to the market, buying the right ingredients, looking at the melons and pumpkins – it was a part of my everyday life’. Monisha is a chef, food historian, and author of the award-winning book ‘Indian in 7: Delicious Indian recipes in 7 ingredients or fewer’. An Allumini of the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai, Monisha established her cookery studio in London in 2004. Apart from being a guest chef and judge at several culinary schools and events, Monisha enjoys teaching people her brand of simple yet authentic regional Indian delicacies with a wide variety of veg and non-veg classics from the humble Indian houses to royal courts and their kitchens. About the course: You'll be going behind the scenes of Kanishka, the Mayfair restaurant run by two Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar which focuses on the unexplored cuisine from the so called 'Sister States' of India.Mother Son & Daughter Trio run this wonderfully vibrant and entertaining cookery academy for almost 2 decades, along with a team of professional chefs and kitchen executives offering their own speciality to each course giving you a chance to delve deep into the subject receiving hands on experience and guidance. With Undying energy warmth and guidance Diana the mom guides all her pupils into the kitchen with utmost care. Atul already had a good knowledge of northern and eastern Indian cuisine, so decided to study in southern India to expand his culinary knowledge even further. ‘It was like being in a new country,’ he says. ‘The language was different, the people were different, the food was different; I had to put my learning boots on and start all over again. I loved living there.’
