Absolutely. However if you are always going to park the bike in your shed, under a porch on in a garage, you might not want such a heavy-duty outdoor cover. One of the lightweight outdoor motorcycle covers would be a better bet, as they won’t need to stand up to the elements and will be easier to manage. If your motorbike or scooter is always going to be parked indoors, in a garage or shed, then an indoor-specific bike cover is a better option – they are made from different materials to outdoor covers, are designed to keep the dust off and – unlike an outdoor cover – can be machine washed. This is my 3rd cover from JDC. The old ones they did had a draw string around the bottom and no elastic. These were great but after a year in the sun the started to fade and become brittle. What makes it so special? In addition to the 100% waterproof outer skin, we’ve added interior silvered panels on both sides, offering protection up to 220°C — so you can cover your motorcycle the minute you park. Then, to cushion the paintwork, there’s a bonded fleece lining. Finally, fully taped seams provide even greater durability. I received the new JDC and to my delight not only does it have a slightly elasticated hem (not too much so it gets caught), it also has an ELASTOCATED drawstring which I wasn't expecting - amazing. The material is also improved over my old JDC covers and time will tell how well it holds up in the sun with extended use.
