About this deal

Consider a cover as an investment for preserving the paintwork and other parts. A bike left out in the scorching sun for several days will suffer fading and peeling bodywork. Relentless rain, snow, ice, or blowing sand will also affect the paint.

When we say waterproof, we mean it. 100% guaranteed. If you need to park on the street, a JDC motorcycle cover also shields your bike from the dirt and grime thrown up by traffic. Even when the sun’s shining they’re useful, preventing the sun’s harmful UV rays from damaging your paintwork. Need to store your bike? The JDC motorcycle cover won’t just keep the dust off. The advanced synthetic fabric is breathable and vented, allowing moisture to escape, and so minimizing rust or mould.A brief rain shower is unlikely to ruin your bike. But parked outside and exposed to the elements for weeks on end will result in a slow deterioration. The JDC Ultimate Rain is our premium waterproof motorcycle cover, recommended by RIDE magazine. After a survey of 17 competitors — many of them twice the price of ours — the JDC Ultimate Rain came out top for "providing total waterproofing. While the heat-resistant material along the sides is almost impenetrable." A motorcycle cover is the perfect item to conceal that what lies beneath is not a gleaming Harley Davidson but a post-war BSA rescued from the scrap heap. Your spouse’s beloved moggy may not steal your bike, but they’ll scratch and puncture its seat covering, given half a chance.

A motorcycle cover may not prevent the theft of your bike, but its concealing and delaying characteristics cannot be denied. If you are going to park on the street, especially if you are in a controlled parking area, it’s a good idea to get a bike cover with a number-plate window. SourcesA stranger walking up to a motorcycle and peering underneath the cover is likely to attract attention. Anything that slows down a thief improves the chances of your bike remaining where it is. Underslung strap: Essentially this keeps the cover in place and stops the wind making it ride up or be blown off completely. Don’t underestimate the wind. Once a strong breeze gets underneath the cover, it can lift it like a hot air balloon and tear it apart over a few hours. Choose a model with not just a middle strap but clips on the front and rear.

Two wheeler theft has risen by a massive amount (25 years ago, scooters accounted for less than 1% of all two-wheeled theft and now it’s over 50%). Motorcycle theft in large cities like London, Bristol and Liverpool has risen by over 30% every year for the past 5 years. That’s a staggering rise. A bike cover is also suitable for long-term winter storage for those who wish to hibernate their machines when it gets cold. They also protect against any chemicals or corrosive liquids that might drop from garage shelving or roofing while sitting for months on end. Conclusion

Customer reviews

Parking under a tree might shield your bike from the sun or rain, but the acidic calling cards of our feathered friends wreak havoc with its bodywork.

Absolutely. However if you are always going to park the bike in your shed, under a porch on in a garage, you might not want such a heavy-duty outdoor cover. One of the lightweight outdoor motorcycle covers would be a better bet, as they won’t need to stand up to the elements and will be easier to manage. If your motorbike or scooter is always going to be parked indoors, in a garage or shed, then an indoor-specific bike cover is a better option – they are made from different materials to outdoor covers, are designed to keep the dust off and – unlike an outdoor cover – can be machine washed. This is my 3rd cover from JDC. The old ones they did had a draw string around the bottom and no elastic. These were great but after a year in the sun the started to fade and become brittle. What makes it so special? In addition to the 100% waterproof outer skin, we’ve added interior silvered panels on both sides, offering protection up to 220°C — so you can cover your motorcycle the minute you park. Then, to cushion the paintwork, there’s a bonded fleece lining. Finally, fully taped seams provide even greater durability. I received the new JDC and to my delight not only does it have a slightly elasticated hem (not too much so it gets caught), it also has an ELASTOCATED drawstring which I wasn't expecting - amazing. The material is also improved over my old JDC covers and time will tell how well it holds up in the sun with extended use. Don't get me wrong it still does the job just wonder if a bigger one might have been better but needed 1 asap so ill put up with it.If you need to park on the street, a JDC motorcycle cover also shields your bike from the dirt and grime thrown up by traffic. Even when the sun’s shining they’re useful, preventing the sun’s harmful UV rays from damaging your paintwork. Need to store your bike? The JDC motorcycle cover won’t just keep the dust off. The advanced synthetic fabric is breathable and vented, allowing moisture to escape, and so minimizing rust or mould. Vents: Any build-up of moisture-rich air is reduced by allowing fresh air to circulate through the cover, reducing the effects of corrosion. Standing next to your bike for ten minutes waiting for it to cool down isn’t convenient if you’re hurrying to work or late for an appointment. Neither do you want to melt your new motorcycle cover against hot exhaust pipes. Quality Material】The Maizjok outdoor motorbike cover is made from 210D Polyester high strength tarpaulin, which is strong, hard wearing and breathable. With good protection against sun, UV, water, rain, snow, dust and scratches, it can effectively cope with bad weather outdoors and can also be used indoors. In case you hadn’t guessed, HD stands for Heavy-Duty. This might just be the toughest waterproof motorcycle cover on the market. It’s based on the Ultimate Rain, which RIDE magazine’s called “almost impenetrable.” It offers interior silvered panels on both sides so you can put the cover on your motorcycle straight away (they’re good for 220°C), and there’s a bonded fleece lining to protect paintwork. The main difference is the advanced, extra heavy-duty outer layer. It weighs a full 2 kg more than the Ultimate Rain, giving you a good idea of just how much additional protection it provides.
