First spritz... And I was hit with an overwhelming scent of hairspray. Whuhhh. I was so confused. Can't figure out what's causing it. To me, It's more freshie than gourmand...wasn't counting on that, but hey...it still smells fabulous!

The price point requires true love for a committment, and while Good Girl Gone Bad is a beautifully blended floral, I also feel like it's too easy to replace with cheaper, probably nicer, equally performing fragrances. Planned musk shopping ended with Kismet, yet another vintage-powder-vanilla fragrance, along with all Parfum Initial versions I already have.

Then the warm mid notes and base pop out. The vanilla, opoponax and labdanum create that delicious waxy vintage make up smell, which i adore. Delivery Delays: Soghaat is not accountable for delays due to Customs inspections or other factors beyond our control. While we can't be held responsible for courier delays, your money is safe with us, and we work diligently to ensure swift deliveries. You'll receive what you've paid for, but please note that delays during transit are beyond our control. Kismet is warm, but the vanilla is not sweet and eatable , it is powdery and classy. Later becomes creamy, complex ... like a mixture between otherworldly and "something old and comforting" . The creaminess makes it feel like there is tone of musk in it, but other notes create the feel.

The opening is a green, sweet and earthy mess. Not very pleasant yet you can tell that it will evolve in something very interesting. It's like grass, earth, nutmeg sweetness and patchouli. Smells like rotting vegetation with a sweet hint. I found Kismet to be almost identical to Rochas Moustache EDP to the extent that it is most certainly a clone of that fragrance specifically as opposed to being a Tuxedo clone. Moustache & Kismet are as close to 1:1 that you can get in a fragrance. It just smells smoother now. How can something have a more powerful effect and sillage...but no lasting power or longevity!?Its a really good, smooth fragrance for gentlemen. Versatile enough for casual wear AND formal wear but not necessarily a fougere or an aromatic and certainly not an ultra masculine scent. Instantly to me this scent evokes an image of visiting grandparents on a holiday like Easter or even 2nd day of Christmas or going to church wearing your sunday's best. Not because the notes are reminescent of the holidays i mentioned or of scents you might encounter at a church. Oh no no, not at all!. What i mean is those ocassions where you dress up nicely and make an extra effort to stay humble, polite and caring. It is not oldschool AT ALL but it reminds me of the carefree days of the past, when i was younger, on last day of school / highschool during the end-of-the-year festivities where we all wore uniforms or suits. Way before becoming burdened by adulthood's problems.

The development brings forward an almost spicy note, that turns again and becomes a more soapy scent. I thought this was the most delicious, sweet, sexy, slightly animalic white / yellow floral and I knew i wanted a bigger bottle. I couldn't understand the people complaining it smelled like "spicy hot milk." This is a dupe of Moustache EDP Rochas and I would say it's about 90-95% similar although it might get more similar with an aged bottle. In Kismet for Men, vanilla-vetiver-patchouli does a good job of giving an impression of the benzoin in Moustache EDP Rochas. The opening fresh & warm spicy notes last longer in Kismet for Men, but the benzoin in Moustache EDP is more swoon-worthy for those who don't go nose-blind to it. Overall, this is a pretty good dupe, but not better than the OG Moustache EDP imho, since the benzoin is my favourite part. Moustache EDP has better performance, but it seems that many people go nose-blind to both of these. My father's birthday is coming up and he likes and wears the original Joop Homme. His bottle is running low so i contemplated in gifting Kismet to him since i already have a couple of scents i would use in similar situations. This morning i did a spray on my hand and let's just say i'll get him a new bottle of Joop Homme hahaha. My greedy self is keeping this baby! The tuberose note is reminiscent of salted meat and heavy cream, especially the moment when ghee (clarified butter) mixes with pork; it’s gourmand in the most unconventional way. A strange combination that is both attractive and repulsive to me. It’s like stepping into an Indian household after the owner had already prepared dinner and is now spraying air freshener to get rid of the scent.
