Description

There’s something very satisfying about holding a hardcover book. I have lots of spiral notebooks and I have to admit that I rarely look at them once they’re full of notes. Somehow they don’t garner the same respect. Not just your everyday notebook For the best, all-round travel journal out there, the Leather Journal by FOFUN is a great choice. This is a stylish, timeless sort of journal that’s going to be a good choice for anybody. Simple minds, simple pleasures,” someone once sneered, derisively. I responded, “What’s wrong with enjoying the simple things?” And I do.

On markets across the world, you can also find amazing leather bound journals that right away give a whole explorer-vibe to your journal. You can also turn them into a personalized journal by having your name or the date engraved in the cover. If you’re open to leather, you’ll find it to be a durable option, and it will weather over the weeks, months and years to look worn and rustic. It came with a small brochure explaining the journal’s history and a sheet promoting other products. It depends a bit what type of travel journal you’re keeping, but my system for creating a (travel) scrapbook is as follows: Though it may not come in different colours, it does come in different sizes, starting at 8.5″ x 11″ and with larger available for you to really get your Picasso on.This has a lot to do with preference and a little to do with durability. Some journals are flexible while others have a hard cover. As long as it’s not enduring major stress on a regular basis, any journal should be fine in your suitcase. The fact that it was called a “Passions Journal” kind of did me in. After all, travel is my passion. I even enjoy reading travel quotes, just to fuel my wanderlust. When you search travel journals, most of the time you’ll see them described as genuine leather, vegan leather, Moleskin, or hard cover. Even if cover material isn’t a big deal to you, one thing you want to make sure of is that the journal opens completely flat to make it easier for you to write and draw in. 5. Refillability

For example, you can buy a travel journal locally (like I did with the albums below, that I bought in Nepal and India from the market).

Either way, I suspect this may be only the first of many Moleskine journals I’ll own. There are so many varieties to choose from: graph-ruled, lined and blank, hard- and soft-cover, large and small. And of course, there are plenty more of those Passion Journals I’ll want for my ownif this works out…. Inspired to journal? If your plan is to use your travel journal for things like city breaks and two week-long vacations – in which instance you may be using a suitcase – then you may not worry too much about the size, with room in a large suitcase for a larger travel journal, naturally.
