Our slimline bifold doors come in 3 different finishes: fully finished, primed or unfinished. If you want a ready to hang, factory finished door then our finished bifold doors are for you. Primed doors allow you the chance to paint your bifold doors in any colour you wish. With the priming done for you, these are also known as part-finished doors. Lastly, you can opt for unfinished bifold doors. These doors tend to be a little cheaper if the price is a concern, but it does mean you will have to do the finishing yourself. However, if you are looking for a particular stain, wax or other finish, this allows you full control over the final result. Materials The book can be read as a standalone, but if you need them, there are summaries of the previous books here.

Needless to say, as is to be expected from this author, the story that unfolds is beautifully and intelligently written. The battle between the then and the now, the fight against the patriarchy, the control and apparent ease within the writing is just outstanding. Our Lord did not say, “Good question! Let’s divide up into groups and discuss what each of you thinks about it.” To pool the group’s thoughts would only increase speculation. Jesus wasn’t interested in speculation about theology. He was concerned about the personal salvation of His hearers. So, rather than opening it up for discussion, Jesus gave a command that applied the question to His hearers’ hearts: “Strive to enter by the narrow door.” I received a digital copy of this novel from the publisher, OrangeSky Audio, via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. My thanks to Tracy Fenton of Compulsive Readers for the invitation and to the publisher for the review copy. When I accepted this for review, I had no idea that A Narrow Door was the third book in the Malbry series featuring St Oswalds, following on from Gentleman and Players and A Different Class. This actually didn’t matter that I hadn’t read either of the previous books, I quite happily read this as a standalone. These verses demand our careful attention because we who are in the church are in the same place as the Jews of Jesus’ day. We are familiar with the things of God. Perhaps like me, you were raised to know the gospel. But being in the church is not enough. Have you personally entered through the narrow door? Have you come to Jesus as a guilty sinner and laid hold of Him as the only acceptable sacrifice for your sins? Are you seeking to know Him and grow in Him as your Lord and Savior? General acquaintance with Jesus won’t be enough in that terrible day. Don’t assume that just because you know about Jesus, you know Him. The story is told in the alternating voices of Rebecca and Roy. She tells her tale in instalments as a delaying tactic, and he, unbeknown to her, records it in a diary. Suffice it to say Rebecca has led a very dramatic life and is not always a reliable narrator. It is hard to stop reading at any point because the reader, like Roy, develops a desperate need to find out the truth.

My prayer is that the Lord will use this message to draw that line around you if you have never entered through the narrow door, which is Christ alone. Salvation is not just an interesting theological notion to discuss. It is of crucial importance for every person because the door is narrow and it soon will be shut forever. But right now it is still open. Jesus says to you, “Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.”Since many will be surprised and since the stakes are so high and irreversible, we must be careful to examine our own hearts, to make sure that we are inside the narrow door before it is eternally closed. There are three reasons we must examine ourselves: We all tend to procrastinate, but Jesus tells us that salvation is the most dangerous matter in all of life to procrastinate about. The day is coming when the head of the house (God) will get up and shut the door. Clearly, at that point there will not be another chance to get in. Once the door is shut, it is shut. Those inside are in; those outside are out.
