Description

Like many high-end earphones, even the Oppo Enco Free sports binaural simultaneous transmission over Bluetooth. In simpler words. It harnesses Bluetooth 5.0 technology to connect to both the buds at the same time. Conventionally, the source would connect to one of the buds, and then a relay would be made between the two buds. This can cause output imbalance or even add latency. Thankfully, these issues were nowhere to be seen (or heard). There’s plenty of dynamism on display too, both of the glaring ‘loud/quiet/loud’ type and the more subtle harmonic dynamics – as a result, Thom Yorke sounds poised and immediate. There’s nothing in-your-face about the way the Oppo present music, but at the same time they’re no shrinking violets. The OPPO Enco Free’s eartips reflect OPPO’s latest research modeling headphones to fit the human ear. Using the flexibility of liquid silicone rubber, we created not one but two distinct designs: in-ear tips for a maximally secure fit, and semi-in-ear tips for more breathability. This clever design brings you a unique balance of comfort and stability that can’t be found anywhere else.

Using the 'JLab Signature' EQ, they have a bass-rich sound profile that delivers a bump of extra punch and boom to mixes. The extra bass doesn't overwhelm vocals and lead instruments, so they're still versatile enough for most types of audio content. They also don't come with a companion app, meaning that the only EQ options you have are the three EQ presets built into the earbuds, which gives you significantly less control over the audio than the JBL Vibe Beam True Wireless. However, they last longer than the JBL on a single charge. We wouldn’t recommend these for gaming, as there was discernible output lag, which can be pretty expensive in certain games. For instances where the sound delay doesn’t make much of a difference, the no-cable nature is highly appreciated — Having no cables coming out of the phones and affecting the grip.In the mobile era, there’s no time for worrying when or where you ’ll be able to take a call. OPPO’s advanced dual microphone beam-forming technology and AI uplink noise cancellation work together to shield your calls from outside noise, so your voice can be heard clearly in any environment. Intuitive controls, right at your fingertips. There were no surprises with the audio quality. Right off the bat, they are tuned in a way to make music pop with slightly raised bass and overall balanced output. This surprisingly remains the case even at higher volumes, exhibiting no signs of distortion. Most average users should like the sound profile, but audiophiles will be left wanting for more.

Not everyone's ears will welcome these buds, in my case it fitted perfectly in my left ear but not so good in the other. you might suggest to change the ear-tips but no they only provide 3 options (small, med, large). and med one was my only option(which was not fitting in right ear). Battery life: Earbuds will always have a stated battery life, as will the case used to charge them. Between 15 and 20 hours of total listening time is around average, though your mileage will vary depending on the volume at which you play your audio. Having advanced features such as ANC active will also drain your battery faster.Reduced transmission delay is calculated based on comparisons with conventional Bluetooth® transmission technology.

However, that does at least mean the Oppo Enco Air don’t sound particularly weak, either. They’re solidly middle-of-the-road – your music will sound fine, just don’t expect it to stir up much in the way of emotion.

The above product details are for reference only. Some specifications and descriptions may change for reasons including but not limited to supplier replacement. Please refer to the actual product for all criteria. Talking about range, you better keep your phone with yourself or in your room, cause if you like to run around your house/workplace while keeping your phone at your charging/desk, you will find yourself annoyed with stuttering music. The earbuds support IP54 dust and water resistance, but the charging case is not. Avoid using the earbuds and charging case during strenuous exercise to prevent damage from perspiration. Switch over to something bassy such as The Beatles' Come Together and, well, the bass isn't really there. It's all perfectly functional and not a jot more. It's hard to wax-lyrical about the Oppo Enco Air's audio quality when it simply 'just works'.

The charging time and battery life were tested in OPPO Laboratory at a temperature of 25°C using a standard OPPO charger. The actual results may differ slightly based on environmental factors and the charger used. The Sony WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless have a customizable sound profile and a great noise isolation performance. They have a recessed treble range compared to the next-generation Sony WF-1000XM5 Truly Wireless. Their noise isolation isn't as impressive as the next-gen, either.
